It was such an exquisite wedding

They spent over 1,000,000 dollars on it.

Awww, I didn't see it which is too bad because lately I have been obsessed with wedding shows, magazines, books, you name it!!!!

Although I didn't see it I have to say that I would NEVER think it was worth it to spend that much money even though we have a pretty high cost wedding planned that is just too over the top even if I did have the money.

as far as I know they have had two episodes of this show. One wedding cost a little over 1 million and the other 2.5 million, both unbelievable amounts of money
but no where near 100 million dollars.

I saw the episode...they said the wedding cost $1.2 million dollars not over $100 million....still quite fancy though

Didn't see it, but I watch Platinum Weddings - those are regularly around 300-800 k budgets, and I can't imagine what else they could have "left out"! A million dollar wedding - I mean, even if it's 10 hours, that comes out to 100k an hour or 1666.67 a minute. Wow.

I just saw the VH1 Big fat fabulous wedding. This episode was set in NJ. I think it got so over the top. The groom was using it as a way to show off the place he owns by inviting everyone he's ever met.

It ends up the wedding actually took place 2 years ago!

I saw it. Totally unimpressed.. I mean it was so ridiculus that it was painful to watch! The groom was PHOTOCOPYING invitations My fiance would not live through that lol!

I saw it today and it was ridiculous! There were 600 guests! I don't even know that many people, much less know them well enough to invite them to my wedding.

This event was held about .5 seconds from where I work. The groom was the owner of the reception site and very well known in our area. He has soooo many contacts and friends in the wedding world. He payed much less then things were worth because of this.
I wish I had caught the special on VH1 because the event is like an urban legend around these parts! Hahaha!

That's actually a Polish wedding tradition - to party all night and the close family and friends stay until an early morning meal. (sometimes breakfast, sometimes leftovers from the "feast".) It actually has a name in Polish "Poprawiny".

Platinum weddings is on WE, but the times are all so different, I never know when it's on - usually after Bridezillas.
