December Disney Bride - Better Late Than Never

Hello everyone!!

Not sure what took me so long to find this place...I've really been missing out on so much great stuff. I found the board, the wedding and honeymoon section, via a search ideas for our wedding.

Now that I've looked around a bit, I wish I would have read so much of this months ago before my planning session and as I have been trying to get things together for our wedding. My fiance and I will be getting married at the Wedding Pavilion on Friday December 7 - it's only 131 days away and I feel like I have SO much to do!!!!

It's great to have found this entire community of Disney Brides...I can't wait to read more and get things figured out.

I am very excited to be here and hope to learn lots and meet some wonderful people!!

BTW...my name is Kim...my fiance (Pete) and I live in NJ.

I am having a Vow Renewal at the WP on 12-6-07. Where are you staying?
I'm sure we'll pass each other at some point. The time does go by fast, I also feel like I have tons left to do!

Thanks for the welcome. We will be at Port Orleans French Quarter and the Grand Floridian. We're flying in on 12/4 and staying at POFQ then I'm moving over to the GF on 12/6 and we are staying there on our wedding night (12/7) before heading back to POFQ.

Where will you be staying?

Hi Kim!

I mostly lurk on the boards and am gathering tons on info for our wedding. We'll be married on 12/5 at the WP. We are staying at POR 11/30 - 12/9 and then at the Contemporary for the night before and the night of our wedding. My parents are letting us use their DVC points for the second week, so we are transferring to SSR on 12/9 and staying a second week! We are so very excited.

WOW! Those are great choices, the BEST! Have you had your planning session yet? We had our a few weeks ago and I really love the locations!! I can't wait! Now, I've got to fix my room block. There's no more rooms available on 12/4 and 12/5 for the rest of my guests! Yikes!

Are you having trouble with your block? What resorts do you need rooms in?
