Randy Question - Renaissance Album VS Digital Flush Mount Album

I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between Randy Chapman's renaissance album and digital flush mount album. Our package allows for an upgrade to the digital mount for $685 but that seems like a lot of money not knowing what the difference is. I know that Randy has some of his digital albums posted on his website but what are the renaissance albums like? I really appreciate the help! Thanks

The Renaissance albums are the more traditional style. This link has photos of our finished album. Some of the Renaissance albums have a window for a photo on the front cover, ours doesn't have that because I added pages, and the large album only came with the plain front.

Oh, dear. I think I'm confused. I got my proofs book from Randy (with all the 4x6 prints). I don't know if we received paperwork for anything else. Are these albums you can order through him? Do you tell him which pics to use or does he choose? How much do they run?

My wedding was three months ago and had no idea of this option!

When we originally booked him I thought that the digital examples on his website were what was included. After the wedding I went back and looked at our package and saw the "upgrade" option and it kind of clicked that those example albums were what was extra. I just had no idea what we would be upgrading from so I was really glad that hmgolden posted her album. We're trying to decide which one to go with... the digital ones are really nice but the albums aren't bad either so it just depends on the $700.

We got our proof books in the mail today. They are so much fun to look at . The albums I am debating over are different though. If you look at the different packages listed for Disney brides on his website starting with package #3 you get an album like hmgolden's. You can upgrade the album though and pay extra for the digital albums like this http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/thumbpage.aspx?e=2981878.

I'm deciding whether or not to upgrade after the fact so I'm sure you can still call Randy up and ask for one if you're interested. How much they run depends on which package you had - for us it is $685 for the digital flush album (since we had package 4) but the package under us (package 3) is $575.
