Engagement Pics at WDW?

Hi, everyone!

My fiance and I are planning on our first trip to WDW for December 2007. We don't think we'll be able to spring for a WDW Wedding But, we were thinking it might be a nice idea to take our engagement pictures while we're there.

Has anyone actually done this in WDW with a photographer? Any recommendations on photographers or nice places for engagement pictures? I think there'd be so many lovely places to take pictures inside the theme park.

Thank you for reading! I'm still hoping we could do a Disney Wedding (or even an Escape Wedding!)

Are you looking for engagement pics in the parks or outside the parks? I know that there are a few people that have done engagement photos outside the parks with outside photographers such as Randy Chapman. (You will read a lot about him on this board.) If you are looking for inside the parks, you might be able to have a session. I know that they do Honeymoon photo packages, but am not sure about engagement. I don't have the number, but hopefully someone can put in on here, for Disney Photographic Services. They might be able to set up a session for you. Best of Luck.

I would prefer inside the park since I think Cinderella's castle among other things might be an excellent backdrop. Just wasn't sure if photographers went inside the park or if it'd be extremely costly to get them to do so.

I think I need to clarify that if it is inside the park you want, then you will have to use Disney photographers. You could also try calling DFTW for information about this too.

Honeymoon / Engagement photographic session- $295
Includes:

• Guided tour of the Disney Theme Park of your choice to determine a photo location. (Includes Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom park, Epcot's World Showcase, Tower of Terror at the Disney-MGM Studios, or The Tree of Life in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park)
• Twenty (20) 4x6 prints
• A beautiful white leather-bound album

(These sessions will be scheduled from park opening until 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Session does not include admission to the park. Casual attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.)​

I am just another Randy Chapman fan. He took lots of photos for you at a very reasonable cost.

If i remember correctly, as long as you couple not wearing formal dress, Randy could take photos inside the theme park.

We had our Engagement Photo's taken at World Showcase. I wouldn't change it for anything. They were perfect! (If I had a scanner I would scan them on here). We had no one in our pictures (as WS wasn't open to the public yet) and we took many pictures in each country. It took about an hour. GL!
