First you need a little background...

Boy it has been a rough past 6 months. We started "officially" planning our trip in January. At that time we got that great 40% room code through our TA Sandy (InstImpres on here). So we booked 3 rooms, as we were taking first timers MIL, and my DHs 5 younger siblings (9,9,12,13,14- they are adopted:goodvibes ). We were SO excited to get to take the kids!

It wasn't long after that that we were able to trade in our 40% for Free Dining. Let me tell you, w/o the great discounts, MIL would not even CONSIDER going, she one of those people, you know the ones I am refering to.;)

Well, with the great discount that Free Dining offers, DH said add on another week (just for us, so a week with and a week w/o his family) . PERFECTO!!!! Who could be more happy than I was at that moment! After carefully considering our options, I added on 5 more days, for a total of 11 nights!:cool1:

Two weeks or so later, MIL cancels her trip. DH and I are so sad for the kids. We REALLY wanted to take them.:sad1:

So, now it is just the four of us...

Me 26 - Hi! I am the Disney lover who got my Theme Park disliking DH to love Disney too! This will be my 4th trip. My first I barely remember, I was 3 and we visited MK for a day. 2nd, I was 14 and visited MGM for the day. In Jan. 2006, DH, DD, and I stayed on property for 3 nights during our split beach/ Disney trip. We had a blast even though I was 6.5 mo. pregnant at the time.

DH 27 - This is his 3rd trip. His first trip was to Epcot at 5, his mom did not plan and knew pretty much nothing going in. All DH remembers is walking FOREVER to a giant golf ball (they didn't know there was a ride inside)! Poor thing! He was not really looking forward to our trip in Jan 06. But I started him off right- we spent our first morning eating breakfast at CRT, where we had a window seat. It was love...especially after he saw the bill and thanked me for purchasing the dining plan! Then thanked me for planning! When we got home he bragged extensively about the enormous amount of food we had and how great it was to have it all paid for before we even got there. He tells people now, "Go to Disney, you'll love it! But, plan first!"

Here are some pics from our last trip:

DD(5)- This is her second trip. She is so excited! Keep you fingers crossed for us, as we'll be taking her out of school for about a week for this trip. We are hoping for no problems! I can't wait to see her reaction the second time around!

DS(will be 16 mos)- This is his first "official" trip to see the world. I've been showing him Pics and we've been watching dvds of rides and fireworks, as well as movies and shows like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I can't wait to see his little eyes light up!

Recently, DH has had a job change, which, sadly, has forced us to cut our trip a bit shorter. He can't get the same days off as originally planned. Luckily, our TA, Sandy, has been supportive and most helpful throughout all of our changes to our trip.

I can't help with the pics, mine just came out that size??? But, to link your trippie:
1. Go to edit Siggie and put your phrase where you want it, i.e "My Trip Report"
2. Highlight it and leave it highlighted.
3. Click add link, it is the earth and chain piece icon near the add image button.
4. In the space that opens type the url of your report (easier to copy paste).
5. Enter it and it should be with your once highlighted phrase.

Hope that helped Farrah!

Thanks! Originally we were checking in on the 21st, but with DH's job getting changed, we had to cut a day from each end, and possibly one more day from the end...Are you going to Illuminations on the 22nd?

Man that sucks...I wish we were going to be there MORE on the same days.
yes, we are going to try to be at illuminations on the 22nd....but it all depends on how the kids are acting. I dont want to push it but if we havent seen illum. before the 22nd we will definitly be there because we leave the next day and this year I WANT TO SEE ILLUMINATIONS!;)

Oh hey thanks for the tip on posting the link...It worked-yeah:cool1: ! Now if only I can keep up with mine.:upsidedow

I'm off to read your report!

Since we live so close maybe we can have a mini- meet sometime? That would be fun!

A little history about me and DH...

We were HS sweethearts! True, I swear! We met the spring of '97. We knew it was meant to be, although he wouldn't admit it! Anyway been together since, yep 10 years! We got married, had 2 kids, and the rest is history in the making!

Our Anniversary is in October. Originnaly, I had planned a special surprise meal at Coral Reef for Oct. 1 to celebrate. I was relly bummed when I realized I was going to have to cancel, b/c of cutting most, if not all of that day. Then I figured, it's Disneyworld, who, seriously is going to care if we celebrate a few days early? So I moved our ressies to a day we were going to be at Epcot (I didn't purchase Hoppers) and was able to get a lunch time. Better than nothing, I say. Now I just have to call CR and reschedule our diver and send in our pictures for our custom menus. It is so hard to keep surprises!!!:goodvibes :rolleyes1

I want to promote an awesome party that will be happening while I am in the "World". No, not MNSSHP, although it will be our first time!

I am talking about the Glow-in-the-Dark Pool Party at Pop Century Resort! If you will be at Pop on September 22, come on over! It will be at Hippy Dippy Pool. You are welcome to arrive as early or late as you wish! There will be GLOW JUICE! Don you Glow necklaces, earrings, sticks, whatever you have and don't forget to throw in a bit of DIS green! We currently are preparing for our trips and becoming close friends before we meet in Sept. So come on over and Get Your Glow On!!

SUPRISE ...Ill be there!:goodvibes
Tell me more about custom menus at CR, I know about the divers but nothing about menus!
Our annivesery is October 7th and last trip to WDW we went on our annivesery but couldnt this year due to free dining.
We wernt sweethearts but we have been together 9 years and married in 2000!

Oh hey I'll take you up on that offer about meeting up sometime since were close. Your in Plainfield right?

Stendal actually, kinda between Huntingburg and Oakland City.

The menus are personalized with names and pictures! How cool is that?

Best part is they are FREE!!! All part of Disney's magic and a little extra Pixie Dust to your trip. They do about any celebration! Just call CR and schedule it! (407) 560-6784 or 407-939-3563 , maybe both?

Here are some of the clothes my kiddos will be wearing, I'll post more as I finish them.
