Why are the throw pillows and blankets AWLAYS on the floor????? I picked up the brown pillow about 10 minutes ago, guess where it is? And one of the blue ones is on the floor too. Why do I bother???

When is the first day of school again?

don't know about you, but kids go back in a month and 3 days here

Of course considering I don't have kids, I'm actually NOT looking forward to them going back. Once school starts traffic gets far worse!

I actually have gotten rid of most of the throw pillows. DS thought that the name meant that you were permitted, nay expected, to throw them. Yeah. Great idea. Let me replace that broken lamp for you. Lovely.

My kid go back on August 29th. I think I need to start a countdown.....

and yes the pillows are on the floor yet again!!!! ERGH!!!!!

Let's see.. it's 1 month and 1 day here!! Woo hoo!!!
Love my kids...but I need them to go back to school.. just for that reason... pillows on the floor, blankets on the floor, food all over (what YOU can't find the trash can?! ~ It's been in the same place for 10 years!) Dishes on the counter.. wow, if you turn around 180 degrees... you'll find the SINK!

Don't have throw pillows (I threw them out! ), but the blankets drive be batty! Seems like I'm the only one in this house that knows how to fold them and put them away when I'm done using them!

Let's see...dishes? Yep, only they are placed on the counter right BESIDE the sink...trash? Yep, I'm the only one that seems to know where the trashcan is. DH is the biggest culprit of that (at least in the main living areas). The man makes a sandwich and can't put anything back in the fridge or put his cheese wrappers in the trash (which is on his way to the table or the living room, btw)!

My kids go back to school on August 14th!!!

are you sure you don't live here???? DH will yell at the kids for not picking something up even after he has stepped over it 10 times. DS5 is currently using the couch as a trampoline, I really need to put him in gymnastics.....

Has my DH been visiting you? My DH does the same thing.. he does the same thing.. and I just laugh at him.. like the breath you wasted yelling could have been used to just resolve the problem yourself LIKE I have to do! EERR

August 21st here.

My youngest will take the pillows, make a fort around the air vent, take the covers and put them over it all. It kinda balloons up and voila, instant igloo.

My oldest will take the pillows and throw them around and then dive on them "Take cover men, incoming!"

Dishes are on the counter, next to the sink. Glasses are left all over. Crumbs and left over wrappers are everywhere. And there are only THREE of them. I would hate to see this house if I had more. Takes me forever to find all the stuff that goes in the trash. Oh, and socks. Let's talk about socks. How can you walk around with one sock on and one sock off? It would drive me batty. Well it does, when I can't match them during laundry.

Ladies, I am so with you. And to make it more fun, we recently added hamsters to the mix. The goal was to make the kids work together to take care of the little rats - results have been mixed. But I don't know why they can clean the cage, vaccuum their rooms and walk over the little bits of hamster bedding they left from their room to the door! Yeesh - you are already cleaning - just FINISH!!!

currently looking at the pile of socks on the stairs. At least they made it into the basket, but can they take them upstairs as they walk past. It will take an act of congress to get that to happen.

This WDW trip is sounding better and better. Let them wallow in their filth for a few days without me. LOL

Or better yet.. running outside w/ only socks NO shoes...and than when I complain.. I get the look like "what do you mean the bottom of my socks are dirty"..

I also enjoy... "it wasn't me" when I ask who left the toliet seat up... or who left the empty glass in the middle of the floor...

I'm working on the club scrapbook now..but came upstairs to get a snack and vent... LOL Vent about what? whatever you all get me going on today!

So it's a boy thing? That explains it. I love my socks on. I only take them off to sleep, shower and swim.
