VMK Scammers

They're are a couple a scammers around the VMK grounds. I am just a kid so I think i would know about the silly scam complaints There is a guy out there ( unnamed) who is a pretty bad scammer. He does the "stitch hat offer" and says that he likes the persons offer. And they trade with him. And he leave. But before he leaves , he says " ill give u stitch on last trade" and he asks them to trade then disappears. We went around vmk (me and my friends) saying that VMK isn't fair. We are protesters!! VMK isnt fair and some of us know it! If you know it then bare with us. If u offer for something make sure the trade is fair. Like..my friend got scammed because someone offered a ticket ( which she did not know u could buy) because the girl that traded it too her said it was a ticket to get into a host room. She believed her. They ended up finishing the trade and she lost her bird hat..for good. After i asked her what she traded it for. And she said " a host room ticket!!" and i said...that wasn't a very fair trade.. and then i said " there is no such thing as "a host room ticket" and the girl scammed her. Then she said "it wasn't fair!!@_@" and then got really mad. She has never traded since. she just buys codes and buys stuff in the vmk stores. Be careful out there

Quarts calm down if you don't like the game don't play ok don't put everyone into a tissy thats no good. But I do admit I've seen pretty lame scam attempts lol. Like my cousin was playing falling chairs and she won and then the owner gave her mickey ears for a prize and then the owner wanted her ears back after my cousin payed her magic to get in I'm glad they got rid of paying so people won't attempt to scam again. And yes I think they should do something because my cousin reported her and they did not do anything I don't like staff sometimes.

Scammers Are Very Annoying >.< Is Seems Like Everywhere You Go There's At Least One Scammer. But That's Where The Ignore Button Comes In Handy. If Someone Decides To Trade [ex. Gray Crate For Black Mickey Ears] It's Their Choice And Or Fault or Accepting The Trade. No Matter How Hard VMK Players//Staff Try There's Probably Still Going To Be Scammers. Like The "Bay Be. And Taken" Rooms Are Banned, Yet People Still Decide To Make Them.

I'd appreciate it if staff put a stop to scamming and geting into action, wich is what I normally say. Once I was looking at my new mansion room (a few months after VMK came out), and a friend walked asking if he could try on a pin. This was when VMK didn't mention scammers, so I didn't know any better. I let him use the pin. He left immediatly and deleted me from his friends' list.

Might have told this story before, not sure if I did or not.

i've never gotten scammed but the storys i hear are awful, i think they should do something about scammer but what is there 2 do i mean scammers know what there doing and can find any way 2 get someones stuff

Well. I got a message from the staff yesterday and it said . It's not our problem , It was your choice to accept the trade. Or something like that. I agree..yet disagree.

I know what you mean once when I first started vmk, someone asked to try on my mickey santa hat and promised to give it back luckily I didn't fall for it.
About 2 weeks ago I was in a trade room and I showed this girl what I was trading, and she said she liked all of it.. and her offer was a ticket that would expire the next day to her room, then I said no thank you and exited the trade, the second I exited it another girl traded me and showed me alot of rare stuff including bird hats, and costume parts and she said "Did that girl just trade you a ticket?" and I said No and she told me that she was willing to trade all of that for the ticket and she told me to trade with that girl again and get it, and then I figured out that she was that girl and right after I would trade for the ticket the other girl would leave.. and she'd run off with all my rare

Here's another story:
One of my friends had gotten red space magic she was soo happy
when it was tradeable, her other best friend who she had knew for years had told her that He had never been in the space store before and he really wanted to go in. Since my friend knew him for a long time she "thought" she could trust him so she gave him her red space magic to borrow and told him to give it back when he comes back. Right after she accepted the trade he booted her, deleted her from his friends list and ran off with her magic..

A scammer traded me and he did this: Scammer guy: I'll give you stitch hat for this bird hat offer because I don't have a bird. - So when we were almost done i had gave him lots of stuff and he said, I'll give it to you last since you only have 2 more things - Well We traded on the last one and we accepted but the scammer had to take off his stitch and he said he would give it, but he just left! And one day he found me in my room and he said He will TRACK ME DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AH!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there be scammers in vmk just yesterday 7/2/07 its not even funny i was in cute or boot win ears!!!! and i was!! in the bottom three and the owner boot me and everyone else and left i think she is banned !!

Putting someones name and like saying something mean about him/her

Someone told me its called flaming. Which is not allowed at Dis.
