When can you book Disney Collection?

I just called MS to book our Jan-Feb 08' trip. We're staying 5 nites in BCV and then I tried to booked 5 nites at Poly Con for 5 nites. MS told me they were NOT taking reservations for the Disney Collection past Jan 1, 08. She had no idea when I should call back.
Does anyone have any idea when I should call back? I can't believe we're in July and I haven't booked my Disney trip in it's entirety.
Can any one help?

I too have been waiting to add Jan 1st at DLH for a couple months now. I called this morning, and they still didnt have the booking opened....

Wow, I always thought you could book the Disney collection resorts at 11 months out. I'm pretty sure I did that a few years ago. We used points to book OKW for 5 nights and AKL for 2 nights and I'm pretty sure we booked it all at 11 months out. I'd call MS and ask again.

Yes, you can book at 11 months out, but the problem is, they don't have points charts yet for 2008.

I've been wanting to book Disneyland and have been waiting.

I am also waiting to book The Disneyland Hotel the end of January. The last time I talked to MS, they said I could keep checking the web site, and when the 2008 chart became available to call.

I am still calling everyday and everyday it is the same thing....The points are not out yet...I will always ask "do you have any idea when they will be release?" and answers vary from end of July to October!!

They haven't set the CRO rates for 2008 yet, so I would expect that it is difficult to set the exchange rates until they have got a handle on what CRO is going to charge cash guests.

Suscribing as I want to book DL for June 08. I asked MS today when the charts will be out and she said they have no idea, but maybe the end of the year! This doesn't make sense to me at all! At this point, if it gets too close for my taste, I may book a cash reservation through AAA and then cancel once I can book on points.

I received an email from MS yesterday letting me know that I cannot make a ressie for DL (thinking Grand Cali) at this time using my points. I am trying for possibly the third week of January. While my dates are not firm at the moment, I don't think this is great.

I was very excited today when I was put on hold after giving my request for the dates I needed....Only to be let down after about a minute that the points are still not released...

So, still no points....However the CM I spoke with did firm up for me that the point system will change and that when using points on a weekend or holiday for the other resorts it will be higher...

So THAT is the reason. This is key. When just browsing the WDW official site for dates in January 2008, it brings me back to July 2007 and says, "You must book your stay at least 3 days in advance" !

This is the same if you check out the WDW Resorts on Expedia or Travelocity: nothing available past December 31, 2007. I find this very strange.
