Sending things via UPS

Has anyone done this or looked into it? I am thinking about sending snacks, (we are a HUGE snack fan) and water to our resort before our trip. I just don't know if it will be cost effective or when should I send it? TIA!

WE sent a bunch of stuff UPS and it was waiting for us when we got there. My wife sent snacks.sun screen and many other items for our trip. It saved money big time and then we bought Milk,fruit,yogurt,etc from Garden Grocer.Com and that really was a blessing. Have a great trip. Dave

This is a very common thing to do... Since water is heavy it might cost you more to ship it so what we have done in the past is sent aluminum water bottles down w/ stuff like snacks, vitamins, sunscreen, coloring books, medicine....when we get there its at the hotel waiting and its one less think you have to worry about.... I also read that you can buy water from somewhere like Staples and have them ship it down there....

I would guess around that area they are used to that kind of stuff. But you always want to call the hotel directly, ask them what info you need to put on the box, and exactly how they handle it for you!

On Regis and Kelly a couple of mornings ago, Kelly mentioned that she never checks her bags when flying, she only brings a carry on and fedex her luggage before she leaves. It shouldn't be a problem,just make sure you contact the hotel first to get correct shipping address and remember to mark you name on it as well.
