DVC dining plan question & split stay

We're staying at the Contemporary on points for two nights then moving to SSR for 4 nights in October. Can we get the DDP for all six nights or only the 4 that we're at SSR? I just wasn't sure about the CR portion since it's not a DVC resort. I am a DVC member and we will be using points for our stay tho. Thanks.

If you are using your points for CR, I don't believe you can get DDP for those days.

If you are paying for the CR room, you can buy the DDP package just like anyone else. The package consists of a certain room rate (usually rack rate), at least a one day base park ticket per person, and the cost of the DDP.

DVC members can only get the DDP when using points at DVC resorts. Since you are using DVC points for your CR stay, you will not be able to get the plan for that part of your trip - (you will get daily housekeeping though ).

arround $40 adult $12 child per night.each person in party has to have it for each night of stay.No need to buy tickets to get it(dvc only).Has to be requested no less than 5 days prior to arival.Payment on checkin not able to pay before you get there

For 2007, the price is $38.99 per night of stay for an adult (10 and older) and $10.99 for children 3-9. The price includes all taxes and an 18% gratuity on the table service meal.

Neither the price nor details of DDP (or even whether it will be offered) have been announced for 2008. The restaurant section of the DIS has a DDP board, located here

If you read the DDP FAQ at the top of that board it will give you most of the info you might need.
