he way we look at it is, we're going whether a package comes out or good rates either way. We just plan everything, we do not have alot of dining plans, we stay 10-12 nights and dine by the seat of our pants, this visit is our 39th and no real problems in dining. We book room only, packages don't save us anything, we know what we like and want and have AP's so its cheaper for us to go with the room only part. Our vacations plans are not dependent on codes or free dining or any of that down the road iffy stuff. We prefer the WL and if later a code or discount does come out, we'll apply that to our reservation, no big deal. I do not think planning would change from staying deluxe or value or inbetween, so plan away, make whatever reccies you feel are necessary, we do not like dining to a scheduled clock, and make your schedule, nothing is really dyed in the wool at Disney. Once we hit property, alot of things change, especially dining preferences and times.
