Kingdom Keepers

I read somewhere that there was supposed to be a sequel but I have no idea when it will come out or if that's even true.

How was the book? I keep looking at it whenever I'm down there...it looks interesting.

I love that book. It would be cool if there was a sequel.

I liked the book but I'm a little aprehensive about going to Disney World. It turned some of the rides into kindof freakish things and I don't know how it will be when I ride them. :) Overall it was a good book though.

Yea, I'm always skeptical of going on It's a Small World.

i went on its a small world and btmr after reading it, nothing happened except what was supposed to happen and it any tof the rides went nutsy wouldnt it be in the papers?

Well yea of course it would be but I mean still. You never know what could happen.

i have to be honest, i would never want to read anything that taints WDW that badly for me, that I would be "skeptical/scared/whatever" to go on some of the rides. sometimes i turn off bad press about WDW because i know that my opinion will forever be that Walt held true ideas about unity, laughter, peace, and fun, and that is what WDW is really about.

The book always left me that it would have a second

It left you at a ? of what was next

oo there is a second coming out next fall (long wait :() it's called Kingdom Keepers: The Rise of Chernabog. It's mainly set in Animal Kingdom. Can't wait!

EDIT: oops turns out the title is still being decided here's a description of the book from Ridley Pearson's website:

Here's the catalog copy for Kingdom Keepers 2 (note, the title is still being considered):

Kingdom Keepers: The Second Server
Disney At Dawn

It's supposed to be a happy day at the Magic Kingdom – the return of the teenage, holographic hosts. But things go very wrong when a sudden lightning storm disrupts the celebration, and Amanda's mysterious sister, Jez, disappears. The only clue is the sighting of a wild monkey in the Magic Kingdom during the storm.

The mystery deepens as Finn is contacted by Wayne, an old man he hasn't heard from in months. Wayne tells Finn that there's trouble at the Animal Kingdom: the evil Overtakers have gained control of one of the computer servers that will be used to operate Daylight Holographic Imaging there. That means that if any of the holographic hosts fall asleep, they will go into comas – permanently.

With time running out, Finn, Philby, and Maybeck, along with Willa and Charlene, and Amanda, begin a desperate search, following a string of cryptic clues found inside the diary of the missing Jez. They must find and destroy the second server before they fall asleep; their survival -- and the future of the parks – depend on their success.

Filled with action and brimming with the same meticulous detail as Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark, this second book in the series — Disney At Dawn --is the result of hands-on research behind the scenes at the Animal Kingdom. Young and older readers alike will get a glimpse into a second Disney kingdom. The wild rides have only just begun; and the clock is ticking. How long can the teens keep themselves awake in their quest to find their friend — and what happens if they fail?

I can't wait to get the new book! I just finished the first one last week. I loved the little details that make it seem as if you are right there! The Goofy Statue was one of my favorite references. Very good book! I didn't know that the Author lived so close to me! VERY GOOD BOOK!
