Ron Jon Surf Shop

I LOOOOVE going to Ron Jon when I'm in florida....it's on of my favourite places to go!!

We always go to the one in Coacoa Beach & at the Festival Bay mall (the one with the new awesome surfing simulator thinger)
I always bring my friends souvenirs back from there.

BUT NOW...




They have built a Ron Jon surf shop in a mall near me!!!!!
And I'm not happy about it at ALL
because

a) My souvenirs I bring for my friends are no longer special because they can just take a 20 minute drive and get them

and

b)WHAT THE HECK IS A SURF SHOP DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF SOUTHERN ONTARIO?!?!?!

I went in there are they are ACTUALLY selling surf boards.
Ummm....hellooooo where are we going to surf...Lake Ontario??

I've heard their are Ron Jon stores all around the U.S so you guys probably have one near you somewhere (maybe?)...but yeah, this ruined the specialness of Ron Jons for me.

The Bay of Fundy?
I'm not even sure about that.

Ron Jon is pretty cool.. it's like the only good store in the Festival Bay Mall.

I like that store in florida...it's really cool.
There isn't any by us that I know of....and it doesn't suprise me. I guess you could go surf through our wheat and corn fields down here.

wow, when we go to florida i love goin to Ron Jons in coco beach and festival bay mall also. thats where i get my friends souvineirs every year. that new surf park thing looks cool, cant wait to see it in july. There arent any Ron Jons by me.

Its insanely over priced. There are so many cheaper places that sell great boards for half the price if you drive like 30 minutes south of the one in Coco Beach. I got my board thats 6'9 for a little under $200 at a place called Longboard House Surfshop in Melbourne. That was over 4 years ago.

However I have yet to actually buy something there. As the poster above me said, insanely over-priced. Last time I went in there it was $30 for a pair of flip flops.
