Crocs flip-flops hurt my feet

I just bought a a pair of the Crocs flip-flops. They really hurt in between my toes. Do you think this will get better?

I can't stand the Athens style - they really hurt my feet between the toes too. I didn't buy them because I didn't think they would get any better. I did buy a pair of the Capri style and I love them - they don't hurt at all and are the most comfy flip-flops I have ever owned.

I was thinking about buying a pair of the Athens, but the strap between the toes looks like it is a little bigger than on the flip-flops I am used to. I was afraid they would be uncomfortable.

Does anyone else out there have a pair. I would love to get some more feedback on the Athens.

I LOVE my Athens, and I hate things between my toes. Most flip flop styles I don't like because they are uncomfortable. I don't like getting dress thong sandals, either. The Athens don't bother me at all.

elastigirlfan, I don't know if they will get better for you, though. Try them out a few more times before you give up. They might soften up a bit.

good luck!

I got the Ithaca flip flops. I will look into the Athens. I also just got the cleo's (sandals, not flip flops)and they are soooo comfy. I love them. Thanks for your help!

the Athens are more chunky, though, because they are unisex...very comfy though!

This is just me, but I do not think you should ever have to break shoes in. Shoes should be comfortable from the moment you first wear them. Depending on where you purchased the shoes sometimes you can take them back, even if you have worn them, simply by explaining that they are not comfortable. On the other hand, many stores will not take them back. I would never, ever continue to wear shoes that hurt. It just is not good for your feet.

I just purchased the capri flip flops and they came the other day. I really like them. This is my first pair of crocs.

I got the Athens a few weeks ago. At first I wasn't sure about them, but within a day or two I stopped even feeling the thong between my toes. I wore them to a local amusement park for about 6 hrs as a trial run and my feet didn't hurt at all that night.

This was my concern as well. I almost always have trouble with flip-flops unless they have cloth between the toes. I don't know what the deal is...

I'll have to reevaluate. On the other hand, I have the MaryJane's and I love them!

I don't like the Athens- the part between the toes felt way too thick to me- and there is a slight seam on the foam that rubs my toes. I love every other style of Crocs I've tried, though- Beach, Cayman, Mary Jane, and Cleo.

I hate the Athens. I tried them on in the store, and they were fine. WHen I put them on later, I walked from the front to the back of my house, and the result was the loss of a layer of skin between my toes on BOTH feet. They promptly went back to the store.

I've been wearing Athens for 1 week to break in for WDW. They've been comfortable and haven't caused any blisters or hot spots. I guess different feet types come into play.

I'm going to look at my other flipflops to see if the toe thong part is similar, maybe that's the trick.

I'm looking for the Crocs Capri's but can't find them in my size online.

I purchased the two tone brown capri's and was on a wait list for a couple of months. I really like them and wore them all day today without any problems.

Have you guys tried this place:

shoesonashoestring.com

shipping's a bear at $8 for the first pair and $4 for the second, but if you order over $99, shipping is free. They have a lot of crocs in stock. I'm not sure what size you are looking for. I ordered some sassaris, and they were shipped in a couple of days. I should receive them sometime next week. Anyway, if you can't find them anywhere and don't mind the shipping charge, try them out... :thumbsup2

Tried shoesonashoestring but Croc Capris are not available in size 8. After searching everywhere I could, I finally just gave in and ordered from www.surfanddirt.com for 39.95 and 5.95 shipping to get the chocolate/khaki in size 8. :confused3

Not a bargain but I probably paid that much in moleskin, second skin and blister bandaids our last trip to WDW. :headache:

I never thought that finding flip flops would be so complicated. There were probably multitudes of sales and quantities of Croc Capris before now. I just didn't know that's what I was looking for. I like the Athens and they have been comfortable this week so hope the Capris are similiar.

Please post your feedback once they arrive. I really find them comfortable and love the chocolate/khaki color.
