Questions about Making ADR's for CRT, FDP and CPDP, using DDP

I have made ADR's for CRT, FDP and CP before, but this year we were thinking of using the DDP.

If we will be using the DDP, what happens when you make ADR's for Cinderella's Royal Table, Fantasmic Dinner Package, and Candlelight Procession Dinner Package…
For CRT, you have to proved credit card information, and do they charge your card
What happens if you decide not to use 2TS credits from DDP for CRT, and want to pay cash at the restaurant..
Is there anything different about making ADR's for FDP and CPDP, using DDP.

I can only speak from personal experience as to FDP - you are asked by the Dining CM if you will be using the DDP (as you are asked for all ADRs) but regardless of your answer you have to provide a credit card #, which will only be charged in the event you do not show for your ADR or do not cancel w/in 48 hrs of your ADR time. At the restaurant, regardless of what you told the Dining CM, the decision on how to pay for your meal - DDP or OOP - remains yours. IOW, yes, you can change your mind and pay OOP even if you told the Dining CM you would be using DDP credits, and vice versa.

They will take your CC for both CRT and FDP even if you are on the dining plan to prevent no shows without canceling. They will keep it on record and only charge it if you do not show up.

Just tell them when you call you are on the dining plan and they shouldn't charge your CC for anything. Once you are there at the restaurant, you can pay any way you want to.

FYI...with all three of these meals, there is no sharing. You must use a TS credit for each person.

I have read the following in several places...
--------------------------------------------------------------
RESERVATIONS -- Reservations may be made 180 days in advance by calling 1-407-WDW-DINE. Tables are assigned in the order in which reservations are made. Shows can sell out during busy times of the year. Payment in full will be required for the Hoop-Dee-Doo at the time of booking. As long as you cancel up to 48 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund.

-------------------------------------------------------------
so how does it work if you are on the DDP?

When you call, you tell them you are on the DDP and they will not charge your CC.

These shows/meals are paid in full only if you are not on the DDP.
