What is the Bounce Back Program? I thought free dining ended 9/22?
That's it. I'm not sure what the eligibility dates were, but we were at OKW in early November and received the offer on that trip. You had to be physically registered in a Disney onsite resort during a certain period to be eligible. If you wanted to "Bounce back," you registered on the spot for a return trip in 2007. We weren't interested, so I didn't pay that much attention to it.I beleive at the end of 06, if you were at WDW on a trip and booked a return trip to a WDW resort for this fall, you got free dining. Not sure of the dates for either end of that, but that's the general idea.
It was till the end of Sept. We're booked from Sept 26th to 30th.
You had to check into your resort, by no later than Sept 29th, but then could get free dining for the length of your entire stay. I booked the Bounce Back Program in Dec and asked the CM 'when was the last day I could check in and still get free dining for the entire trip'. We have free dining from Sept 29th-Oct 7th (Food & Wine Festival here we come ). He said as long as we were checked in by Sept 29th the free dining would carry over for the entire trip.
I figure with alot of people moving their trips up in order to get the general free dining, that WDW will probably be like a ghost town that week. At least I'm hoping so. I've been the last two Sept (both times in mid-Sept) for free dining and both times parks were almost empty, but TS restaurants were packed. Hopefully, not this year!
We got the offer at OKW. It may be because of your signature...Wouldn't have known anything about it if I hadn't read it here. Stayed at OKW. Apparently it was only announced at targeted resorts (Contemporary, Pop, POR, BC/YC). Went to the Beach Club and booked at a desk in the lobby.

We were there last Sept. but never got an offer like that. I am going the end of Aug. into Sept. I would have changed my date. I wanted to go in Oct. but moved it up becvause of free dining.
From what I've heard, the Disney folks were flabergasted by the response to Bounce Back. The response was supposedly much greater than they expected.
There were actually people who heard about it here and booked special trips to WDW just to get Bounce Back. They flew to Orlando, checked in, made their Bounce Back arrangements, and then flew out the same day...some of them without ever setting foot in their rooms or a theme park!
We were there last year but later on (9/9-9/16) and the parks were practically empty. Our school started 9/20 so we were able to take advantage of a much later visit. It was probably one of the best trips we've ever taken. We're starting regular time this year (9/6) so we can't come down that late. I'm hoping that it won't be that bad, given the later start for general free dining.
