Hello fellow dissers,
Can some one tell me if the Toy Story rooms at All-star Movies is preffered rooms or not, because some web sites say that only fantasia is and some say that toy story is as well.
Any help would be helpful thanks.

Up until last April, Fantasia was the only preferred section at ASMo. Then they changed it so that Toy Story and Dalmatians were also classed as preferred buildings. We booked last April (before it changed) and requested Dalmatians. Checked-in in October, got Dalmatians and also got charged for preferred - thanks Disney

Sorry, I digressed - to answer your question, yes, Toy Story is preferred :)

we stayed in toy story--woody. i like woody better, the buzz lightyear looked a little "dark"

have fun

Just found this on disneyworld.com

All rooms have two double beds, table and chairs, a vanity area with sink, and a separate bathroom with tub. Preferred Rooms are located in the two Fantasia Buildings located nearer to the main pool, food court, transportation, playground and laundry facilities. Non-smoking and disabled-accessible rooms are available. Amenities include in-room wall safe, voice mail and data port on phone. Hairdryer, iron, ironing board and refrigerator are available upon request.

Interesting that I couldn't find that info on disneyworld.com but I did fid this on www.allears.net

Preferred rooms are located in the buildings closest to Cinema Hall: Toy Story, Fantasia, and 101 Dalmatians.

Link to the allears info here

ETA: From this thread it appears that the info on disneyworld.com is incorrect - as I sadi the toy Story and Dalmatians buildings are now preferred as of May 1st 2006.

When I went to book All-Star movies a few weeks ago, the CM said all that was available was preferred rooms. I did ask which buildings were preferred and he said Toy Story and Fantasia and that he and his family prefer Toy Story Buzz rooms...

Lol, and I was sitting here wondering the same thing :rotfl2: Especially as we DID get charged for preferred in October. I wonder if they had a set period where requests would be granted with no extra charge after the added the other preferred locations :confused3
