2 night stay..use dining plan??

I booked 2 nights at AKL and was wondering if I can add the dining plan for just 2 nights. Thanks

i believe the dining plan is for stays of 3 nights or more... if i'm incorrect, i am sure someone will come along and correct me in short order

I don't see any minimum stay requirement in the brochure, but there is still a package purchase requirement, i.e., you have to book at least a one-day base MYW ticket for everyone in your room along with your room reservation, in order to be eligible to get the DDP.

There's a minimum stay for the FREE dining plan, but you can add the paid Disney Dining Plan to a one night stay if you really want to.

I love the dining plan but I'm not sure I'd use it on a very short trip. I'd really have to think about what we wanted our meal plans to be and if we'd really require the ddp.

I too was wondering what people thought about using the DDP on a short trip. I have used the DDP for longer stays but this time I am only going for 3 nights. Would it be worth it? I am leaning towards thinking it is since you get the same savings per night as you would if it were a longer trip.

You'd get the savings but I'm not sure I'd take the time for table service meals on a short trip. I'd probably stick to CS only if I was only going
for a couple days. That's just my opinion though. You'd need to decide where you'd be eating- if TS meals are in your plans then consider if they are "worth" paying for the DDP on top of the MYW tickets for admission to the parks (not a good price per day for short trips, IMO).

We enjoy DDP for short stays, but probably wouldn't use it for anything over 7 days. I think we'd get tired of such similar menus after 5-6 days. Our typical trip is 4-5 days, and we do several a year, so we're not so pressed to see so much on each trip and the DDP allows us to try restaurants we normally would not try.

However, the fact that we are DVC members, and therefore don't have to buy park tickets or pay rack rate changes the math considerably for us. If you have to pay a high price for a room to begin with, and then pay a high per-day ticket price, your math may be very different from ours.
