Tables for two... a little worried...

Last trip, we only ate at CRT... and our table was by the window overlooking Fantasyland... beautiful! No complaints at all and could not have been more perfect... felt like a pretty-pretty-princess

I've been doing some research and have discovered that some places have "unfriendly" locations for their tables of two...

It's just my mom and I... so we don't need anything "secluded" and "romantic"... but new fears have arised after reading some reviews of places...

Can anyone comment on tables for two? We have reservations at the following locations:

Crystal Palace
Le Cellier
Mama Melrose
Cape May Cafe
Planet Hollywood
Coral Reef
Donalds Breakfastsaurus

Not looking for any "specific" information... just a general idea of what you've experienced or witnessed. Thanks for any help

My DH and I have gone to WDW for years as a party of two, and I would have to say that although we have gotten some nice tables from time to time, more often than not we have gotten "undesirable" tables- usually located next to the kitchen door, bathroom, or right in the middle of the room kind of just wedged in there. Just my experience. We're happy that we are going this year with our DD because we hope to get better seating this time as a party of three! I hope you have better luck with your seating than I have!

We were a party of two (not a couple, just two female friends) during my two trips to WDW as well. I foud that we had some very nice tables as well as not so nice tables, but none that was horrible. But we actually did not eat at any of the restaurants you are going to eat at, so I cannot comment on those. My view on this is not to worry about what could go wrong, but just enjoy what is good and not dwell on the things that aren't perfect. You never know, the bad location table might have a wonderful server...

DH and I are just 2 and have never had a problem with seating, until this past Feb at CP we sat at a tiny table next to this HUGE family of like 16 people...it was a nightmare..the kids were pushing into us and the family was "spilling" into our space, they were so loud...we ate quick and got out of there.

its normally my son and i and we have always had great location for tables- at Coral reef we were sat right next to tge glass( on a table for 4) at Planet Hollywood we were sat on the lowest lkevel in the middle of the dining. no probelm at all.............

Its normally just DH and i....never had an issue...but I’m the person who if we are put somewhere iffy will ask (politely) for a nicer spot....Flying fish is the only resent example of being put in a walk way and asking for something where we won’t get run over....

My view on this is not to worry about what could go wrong, but just enjoy what is good and not dwell on the things that aren't perfect. You never know, the bad location table might have a wonderful server...

Exactly- even though we had our share of bad tables, it was never horrible or ruined the trip or anything. It became a running joke between DH and I "ok, are we gonna sit next to the kitchen or bathroom this time?" We really didn't let it bother us.

Trying to think back to trips of only 2 for meals and I think we've always had a nice table. Ate at the Swan/Dolphin (so not really a standard restaurant) and had a good window table (though it overlooked the parking lot) and when we ate at The Garden Grill had a booth that was fine - though on the upper level versus lower.

It's just the two of us and we didn't have any issues at all last year.

We had great seating at both Crystal Palace & Le Cellier. I haven't been to the other places you mentioned.

I can only comment on these four. At CP, where I've eaten three times, I've always been in the center of the room. At Le Cellier, I've always been at a table by the wall. At Mama Melrose's I didn't have a bad seat, the second time I ate there I was right near what looked like the pizza oven, but there was a counter thing seperating it from the table. At Coral Reef I was on the top tier, but had a good view of the tank. I've never had what I would consider a bad table.

It's just my husband and me and we've never had any less than desireable tables at any Disney restaurant and we've eaten at just about all of them. But think of it this way. Not every table is going to be perfect. For reasons that differ from person to person. Our very lovely outdoor patio table at the Rose and Crown for lunch on a sunny summer day might have ticked off someone else who wanted to be inside with the air conditioning. We loved it. OUr rear seat "table" at Sci Fi might have been considered less than desireable but it's not often after 25 years of marriage that we can snuggle in the backseat of a car. If we had gotten your perfect table at Cinderella's, my husband would have thought that was less than desirable. It's all in your personal preferences.

It was DM & I in December,we always got nice tables except maybe at Donald's, but it is a CS that turns into a TS for a few hours so that may be why....
At Le Cellier we were at a table for 4. It was lunch and the place wasn't packed at all.
CP was fine, they have a lot of tables for 2.

Don't worry you'll be just fine.
