We Just Returned From The Magic! We Ate At Liberty Tree Tavern For Lunch On Friday. We Loved It! I Am Pretty Picky When It Comes To Food. My Husband Will Pretty Much Eat Anything. I Ordered The Crab Cakes. They Were Out Of This World! My Husband Had Pasta. We Will Go Again In September For Free Dining.

Great to hear that you had a good lunch! We've only ever been to LTT for dinner and I'd like to try it out for lunch on our next trip. :wizard:

Shhhhhh:ssst:, let's keep LTT lunches a secret! If word gets out, it'll be difficult to get those last-minute ADRs! :sad2:

We never miss LTT for lunch when we go to MK.
Love it, Love it, Love it.
The Grilled butter pound cake with carmel pecan sauce is my favorite dessert in all of WDW. :p
The palce is so worth a TS credit for lunch on the dinning plan.

We really enjoy lunch at LTT, it's a great spot to get out of the crowds and heat of midday. We like the menu for lunch and have tried several items.
Service has always been good too.
Dh always has the pot roast- a huge amount of food and he can never finish it. I had the pasta dish and it was very good, minus the spinach- no problem, again alot of food too much to finish. Too bad we cannot agree on one item and just share..
We all had the chocolate cake with the cherry icecream-- soooo good, yep we shoulda shared this too...

OH MY GOODNESS! That is the dessert I had last time, too, and it was incredible!!!!!! LTT is our favorite restaurant of all in WDW. The desserts are by far the best we've had in WDW and we've eaten at lots of different Disney restaurants. In Sept., we are eating there for lunch early in our trip and for dinner on our last night. YUM! :cloud9:

we always get the crab cakes at lunch, followed by the pilgrim's feast (turkey dinner) - and we especially enjoy no characters at lunch, too!

it's a nice place to take a cool break during the day

We are booked for dinner before the P&PP in August. How does dinner compare to lunch...is it a good place to eat for dinner? We have always eaten at CRT while at MK and convinced friends of ours to eat at LTT. Please tell me I made the right decision. Thanks.

My DW has eaten before at LTT (years ago) but our two DS and I never have. We're eating lunch there one day and dinner another in June. We added the lunch after looking at the lunch menu, which looked more impressive than the dinner menu. (The fish entree sounded particularly good). Thanks for the recommendations for the pound cake, it sounds great. Any other recommendations off the menu?

Normally we do counter service at MK for lunch but decided we'd need a nice sit-down break at some point.:goodvibes

The dinner is also delicious. The food is kind of like a thanksgiving meal and it is served family style. It is so much fun and the character interaction is awesome. The atmosphere of the restaurant really makes you feel like you stepped back in time.

There are so many great choices on the menu. I remember that we all loved the Fried Cheese appetizer which included several different kinds of fried cheese. My husband loved the pot roast, my mom got a delicous sandwich, and I had the William Penn Pasta which was also good. The desserts are the absolute best. We each got something different so we could share. I had the pound cake, my husband had the chocolate lava cake with the cherry ice cream and my mom had the huge strawberry shortcake. Everything at LTT tastes so fresh and delicious! I can't wait to be back there! :cloud9:

We had a wonderful lunch at LTT on our very first day of our trip. I had the crab cakes which was delicious followed by the Colony salad. That was great also but I had to save room for dessert. The two kids - 18 and 19 started with the salad and then the Pilgrim's feast which they really enjoyed. For dessert we all had something different and they were all SSOOO good. We had the butterpecan (? or something like that) pound cake, the chocolate cake and the strawberry shortcake. We were on the DDP and this was our first TS meal but we found that we just could not finish everything. I will definately go back to LTT for lunch.

Lunch here is delish. It is my favorite lunch spot at the MK. However, I really do miss the sweet tea they used to serve!:sad2:

I'll be trying out LTT when we go this July. I've heard that it is good, however I forgot to try it last time.

:cool1: I am adding this to my list of ADR's to make my trip isnt until july 08 however we are looking for good food, no characters ( as the kids tend to get sleepy close to this time), and somewhere we can relax and enjoy the atmosphere LTT sounds like it has it all   thnks everyone

We ate dinner there in February. Apparently they were having a bad day with difficult customers (which we witnessed). In any case, the food was very good, the server was very good, but...

--the place was filthy. And I do mean filthy. I've seen cleaner bathrooms, for example, at Burger King. There was food all over the floor of the upper hallway for the entire 90 minutes we were there.
--it took 90 minutes or more for the characters to come around. And the only reason we finally saw Goofy at all was because our server went to get him for us after 90 minutes when we said we needed to go (we'd been done with dinner for nearly 45 minutes). Sitting around and waiting for 45 additional minutes to see one character was a bit much. And honestly, my dd was starting to get anxious that he was never going to come around, which took some of the fun out of the evening.

We'll give it a second chance bec my dd loved the food, in the hopes that the problems we encountered were just a fluke.

we ate there last september- the food was awesome and we had a really great time!! The characters were out in full force and visited our table lots of times. I have some great pictures to boot. The thanksgiving dinner that they servce at dinner time is to die for!!!

My wife and I have the LTT lunch on our "must do" list for every trip. Never observed a problem with the cleanliness.
