I'm calling today at 180s out. There was only one reservation for CRT for breakfast (I wanted lunch). And she wouldn't give it to me because I have an infant (can do 12 but not 13) even though the 13 wouldn't be sitting at a table.

Tried to do another reservation for my husbands 40th birthday at the Coral Reef and she's put me on hold for a good 10 mins... saying with the infant I can't do a regular reservation I need group dinning.

I really can't believe how sucky this experience is.

Try calling back and getting someone else. Last night I was speaking with a gentleman who told me that if I wanted to book 7 adults & 2 kids at Il Mulino, my 3 year old niece would have to sit in a high chair. When I asked why, he said that they had 3 types of tables here- they could seat 8,4, or 2. I said, so if I had 9 adults, one of them would have to sit in a high chair? He said he would have to book us at 3 tables to seat us then. (This is at 5:00 by the way, not during full rush and almost 180 days out at this point.) After realizing I was getting no where, I told him I would think about it and call back. I hung up, hit redial, and within a minute spoke to a nice lady who never once suggested I force my youngest niece into a high chair, and said they would sit us at two tables... When you get a difficult CM- and this is rare in my opinion, call back and get a new one.

1) Call back and ask to be transferred to Grand Gatherings. You don't actually need to be having an "event", but this department is set up to assist large groups with things such as dining reservations.

2) Despite a small child sitting in a high chair, that chair has to go somewhere. Unless the parents plan to leave it and the child in the middle of an aisle somewhere, or in the nook where the high chairs are stored, that "somewhere" has to be AT your table - taking up the space of a chair/diner.

Which is why I wanted two tables and no highchair. The CM was trying to make it one 8 table and a high chair, or two 4's and a high chair. He would have had her in the middle of an aisle as you said. Plus she doesn't sit in high chairs now, she certainly won't want to in 6 months... Can you imagine the meltdown???

I called two weeks ago to make my 180 day ADR's and the women I had gave me a hard time about 8 for Crystal Palace, and 11 for O'hana breakfast.

I just booked them for 5, which she said was all I could do and called back later and had no problems getting everyone involved on the ADR.

Oddly enough, she had no problem booking 19 of us for a lunch at the GF on my actual wedding day

So after being put on hold for another 10 mins while she tried to connect me with group dinning because we had over 12 people (for my 13th "diner") Keep in mind this is a 3 month old infant..We aren't even talking high chair...This is infant carseat or sitting on my lap...I finally asked for a supervisor.

I had a lovely woman make all my reservations, my BBB hair reservations for my two neices and my DD.. and get my tickets for MNSSHP. What a change from the first person. Geeezzz...

We have 10 going in Sept, I was told anything 8 and over had to go through Grand Gatherings.
