Questions: Early Entry, blackout day ticket, etc

Do you still get early entry if you're staying at the Paradise Pier? If so, what time do the ticket booths open?

We have deluxe season passes and are going this Friday, but we are also considering going on Saturday if we'll be eligible for Early Entry. But we'd have to get blackout day passes. Are these passes hoppers? And can we get them in time to get in for early entry?

Thanks!

Yes you get EE by staying at PP. Yes you can hop with a black out ticket. I'm not sure what time the ticket booths open. I dont know if they would be open for EE or not.

I was going to answer just like Linda. I have no idea about the ticket booths being open in time for you to get a blockout ticket for EE. You might need to call guest services with that question. Perhaps they would let you buy the blockout ticket the night before?

Typically they are very firm on only letting you get them the day of. Not sure if they would bend that rule or not. I know the ticket booths open at least a little before the gates, I'm just not sure if it is an entire hour early.

Thanks for the answers! I called Guest Relations and they said ticket booths open 30 minutes prior to park opening. So hopefully the lines don't move too slow?

Anyone know how long the line is 30 minutes prior to early entry? Trying to figure out what time to get in line. This is for Saturday, park opens at 8, so I assume early entry is at 7 am. So if we are in line at the ticket booth by 615 am, would that work?

Thanks!

I hate to say this, but you might want to call back to clarify. When a CM says "park opening" they mean "official park opening". Did you tell them you were trying to purchase a blockout ticket prior to EE? You would want to go to the Guest Services window to purchase the blockout pass, not a regular ticket window. Ask them when the Guest Services window opens on an EE day.

Thanks, I did specify I was looking to purchase a blockout ticket on an EE day

Yes you can purchase your blackout ticket in plenty of time for EE.

We had the same problem last year. We were staying at the DLH, and my DS brought a friend who had gotten a parkhopper, but his friends purchased too many days on his parkhopper. Aw shucks, we had to stay an extra day. We confirmed that we could get blackout tickets around 1/2 hour prior to EE at the ticket booth. However, the security guy suggested we checked guest relations since they open a little before the ticket booths -- and we did. We got our black out tickets at guest relations, and still managed to be at the front of the line for EE.

Good tip about guest relations, thanks!

Great info here!!! We will need to get a blackout ticket or two for my daughter. She has the Deluxe AP and the rest of us have the Premium (it's a long story I don't want to explain). Also, how much are the blackout tickets?
