Hi what airport does the DL express bus go to?

I understand that it services both SNA and LAX.

The Disneyland Express services John Wayne/Orange County/Santa Ana Airport and Los Angeles Airport.

The times that the bus will pick up you up from your hotel will be the same for both airports.

The bus drives to the Disneyland Hotel and drops you off and buses to both LAX and SNA will arrive.

In LAX to get the Disneyland Express go to the Green Island, and look for the bus with Disney characters on the outside.

In SNA, go to the Ground Transportation Area, and then there is a little booth with Disneyland Express on it, and the bus stops there.

According to their brochure, it doesn't JUST pick up/drop off at the DLH, though, there are MANY hotels included. Or am I managing to read that brochure schedule completely wrong?

No, it's like this.

Say you staying at the Hampton in Garden Grove (Or any other hotel besides the DLH), a bus will pick you up at your hotel, go to a few other hotels, then drop you off at the DLH, where a bus will pick you up for SNA or LAX.

Why doesn't Disneyland Express service the Ontario (ONT) Airport? When I went to book my DLR vacation through the Disneyland website, the website recommended we fly into and out of ONT. I did not book my trip through the Disneyland website but I did follow their advice and I am flying into and out of the ONT airport.

My question is why would the Disneyland website tell me to fly ONT and the Disneyland Express (which is the only shuttle service contracted by Disney itself) doesn't service this airport?

I will call Supershuttle, but I just think it is weird that Disneyland Express doesn't service this airport.

update on my own question.

Just called D.E.

They explained it this way. If I arrive at the airport and there is someone manning the kiosk, I pay there, get on the bus, that bus takes me all the way to my hotel (Carousel, for us).

If I arrive when there is no one manning the kiosk, I get on the bus, then get off at DLH, and pay there. Then get back on the bus (she said it was only one bus, but I imagine if there were a line to pay one might end up catching the next bus that came by?) and they take me to my hotel.

On the way back, she said you call to make the reservation, and it's all taken care of, no getting off at DLH. It might require a stop if you haven't paid already, I imagine.

That's actually weird. You may want to check again. You have to get off. The only bus that goes from a hotel directly to the airport is at DLH.

That's way screwed. In three trips, I've never had anything close to that.

Bumber and DCA- you are comparing two different things. Bumber is talking about getting FROM the airport and DCA is talking about getting TO the airport. You will not change buses getting from the airport to the hotel. You'll get on, and it will take you to your hotel. When you return to the airport, it WILL take you to the DLH terminal so that you can get on the bus going to the proper airport.

I'm not sure why the disney site defaults to the ONT airport. I've noticed that, but always change it to the airport I want (LGB or SNA). I never took it as a recomendation, just an odd default setting.

Hey wait, you're in my usual role of peacekeeper and explainer-of-misunderstandings.

When the phone-answerer finally understood my question (which she MAY have been only answering for SNA, I really should have mentioned), we both got a bit distracted during the convo about getting BACK to the airport, as my 2 year old started yelping about something or other.

The image it left in my head is definitely that of bus travel, though...my dad drove for Greyhound, and if one caught a bus from an actual depot, ticket in hand, the experience was completely different than leaving from an un-manned station where you pay the driver. In this case, it doesn't seem that Grey Lines makes you pay the driver, but rather you pay at DLH, if you aren't already paid up.

That's what it *seems* like, at least.

We choose Disneyland Express because we thought our kids would enjoy riding in such a cool looking Disney bus.

I didn't make reservations for Disneyland Express from LAX, but we went to the bus stop, bus arrived within 10 min, took us to DLH, we all stayed on the bus, someone collected the fare, I paid r/t, and made reservations for when I needed to be picked up, they gave me tickets for pick up, they then dropped us all off at our hotels, we were the last people to be dropped off, we stayed on Harbor Blvd (Park Vue Inn).

Having done that I would recommend the Super Shuttle (which we've done on previous trips), DE dropped us off at their curbside bus stop (same one as a public transporation/bus) and we had to walk with luggage + our children to our hotel (which was NOT what I was expecting), we also saw others walking to their hotels quite a distance. We waited FOREVER for the right bus to come get us, it was HOT that day. I think that if you stayed at The Anaheim Fairfield Inn it wouldn't be that bad, since they have their own bus stop at the hotel. But it wasn't worth it IMO. Esspecially if you have kids.
