Crowds 2 weeks after Easter?

I'm planning a trip to Disneyland for my grandparents and me (and maybe my aunt & 2 cousins) and was wondering how bad are the crowds at DL the week before Easter? I looked up the Anaheim School districts online and they don't have Spring Break until the week AFTER Easter. So I don't know what to expect

Has anyone ever been during this time? We plan to go on a Tues or Weds thinking that if it is crowded it will be LESS crowded then the weekend.

Please enlighten me!


Now we are thinking about going two weeks after Easter April 17-18th. Going to Disneyland the 17th then staying nearby probably at a best western and going to CA adventure the next day. I think the crowds will be less by then but does anyone know from experience? We have never been to california adventure. How is it? For those of you who have gone to WDW is it similar in some way to Disney Studios?

It's gonna be packed. Cm blue passes are blocked from 3/30-4/15. Mandatory OT and 7-day work weeks for CMs. Long park hours.

LOTS of CA schools have the week before Easter as their spring break. It will be very crowded.

It's busy but I've gone the last five years the same week and have had a great time. Just be prepared and arrive early each day, use the fast pass system (see hydroguy's tips), and you'll be fine.

Are the crowds worse than a summertime Saturday?

I was there last Thursday - it was already starting Spring Break crowds. I would judge it as crowded as a non-peak Sunday, maybe a little more. DD and I were hoping to ride some FL rides and meet princesses at the Fantasy Fair. Lines were long and I estimate the princess wait was 2 hours. After standing in line for 20 minutes, DD (4) decided the princesses could meet her another day! You will have a fun trip, but be prepared for crowds and long lines. As already said, use fast pass!!!

I don't know if I want to go at that time then. But it's during my spring break and I'm available. It's just that my grandparents aren't the fastest people Especially since my grandmother will be in a wheelchair. But do we have to go in line since she's in a wheelchair?

Yeah, that's right. It expires april 26th. But I think we would be ok since people will most likely have used it during their spring break. Or at least, I'm HOPING so

Well it all depends if my mom has the money for the hotel, if not we are only going the 17th. I told her she has 3 weeks to save so she better start!

I'm guessing you're a CM So do you think anytime after that (say 4/17-4/18 ) would be less crowded? I'm not sure because the 2fer deal ends the following week. Those two dates are weekdays so I don't think there will be 3 hour long lines ... I hope so!

I was there last year the entire week starting on Eater day and it wasn't too bad, better than I expected. I heard the week before was really packed. I think more people have spring break the week before Easter than after. 2 weeks after Easter shouldn't be bad at all.

We are trying it again this year. We'll be there starting Easter day and be there through that Friday...we'll see what happens.

We're going from April 17-19. I've read that the spring breaks will be over by then, and it's mid-week, so I'm hoping it'll be manageable.

We'll be in DL April 10-15 and hoping that the crowds will thin a bit. Hoping that most kids will be heading back to school the Monday after Easter!!

I checked and that week is when some (maybe all but I'm not sure) Anaheim school districts have their spring break. So you might get alot of locals or since they are locals they might go any other time. Its good to be hopeful
