We are looking at doing a character breakfast for my 6 year old daughter in December. She is a big Stitch fan so we were considering the Ohana character breakfast at the Polynesian. Looking for people's experience at this character breakfast (good or bad). I have seen a few reviews with mixed results. Just wondering if it is really hit and miss before we spend our time and money doing this.

Our 7 year old nephew was the most excited about seeing Stitch, of any character. My DH & I had never heard of him! But we sure will remember the wonderful experience. We went to O'Hana the first morning so it was a great start to a great trip!:yay:

My daughter's favorite character is Stitch so we did the character breakfast at Ohana last year. She got plenty of time with Stitch, Liilo and Goofy and we thought the breakfast was excellent.

Goofy? Really? We saw Mickey and Pluto in addition to Lilo and Sticth. I guess that's what they mean when they say characters may change!

BTW here's the platter, Mickey Waffles, eggs, bacon, fat sausages:goodvibes , and potatoes. Fruit plate and a basket of yummy sweet breads! Juice and coffee too. Fresh, brought to you, and as much as you want!

We ate breakfast there before our trip home right after this opened. We found it to be quite tasty and a pretty good deal for the cost. Character interaction was good too.

Good save catching the juice from spilling.

We are going to try this breakfast for the first time this trip during our last day. A nice way to say bye to Disney and have them serve us breakfast instead of getting up and down with two kids.

We had breakfast here in January on our trip, and my 8 & 6 year old loved it!
I am not a fan of buffets, so this was the perfect alternative-all you can eat is THE way to go! The food was delicious and interaction was great! I believe we saw Mickey/Stitch/Lilo/Goofy/Minnie

DD and I had breakfast at 'Ohana in early January. We both liked it very much. We met Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto- DD also got to parade around the restaurant with all the other kids and characters. They handed out maracas and everyone did a conga line type of dance around the room- very cute!!

The food was really good- tropical orange-passionfruit-pineapple juice, assorted pastries, and a fresh fruit plate for starters. Then the big skillet comes out- it has scrambled eggs, sausage links, fried potato wedges, bacon, and Mickey waffles. Yummy, and all-you-care-to-eat. We didn't have any special requests, but the next table over asked for yogurt, cereal, and milk, and got them with no problems.

We enjoyed breakfast at 'Ohana very much- we'd definitely go again!

We ate at Ohana and loved it. One of my kids was a little under the weather and wasn't up to a whole lot of playful interaction, but eventually got into the festivities. Her stomach was a little upset and wanted more of the fruit "appetizer" that was brought to the table first and we had no trouble getting more. Then she wanted just more grapes and again, no trouble at all getting more grapes for her.

We're going to be there next month and can't wait! I'm also interested in hearing what others have to say about it.

We LOVE the 'Ohana Stitch breakfast! It has become our new must-do each trip. We too have a huge Stitch fan and he really enjoys this meal. DH and I love the pineapple bread and the juice is great (combo of fruit juices). Since there's only 3 of us we can only eat one skillet (and never finish it!) but we still feel its a pretty good deal. And you don't have to get up and down to get your food!:thumbsup2

This is my family's absolute favorite character breakfast.

Here is why...

#1 - We love to visit the Poly, then hop on the monorail to go to MK
#2 - My DH isn't a buffet guy and we love that it's served family style. We think the food is hotter & fresher this way. You can have as much as you want.
#3 - The pineapple bread rocks.
#4 - We've always had great service - much better than any other character meal we've done.
#5 - My boys loved meeting Stitch, Lilo, Mickey and Pluto
#6 - My boys love the parade around the restaurant with maracas.
#7 - We love the whole theme. Our waiters/waitresses have taught us how to do that thing with your hand (only pinky & thumb out) to say "Aloha Cousin" - everyone is a cousin because Ohana means family.
#8 - We got leis. :beach:

We just love it! Here is a picture from last March....

It looks like everyone loves this character breakfast so we are planning on booking it for December. Thanks!!!
