Help! The chorus group that my niece sings in has been invited to the MK to perform. She can't remember the name of the restaurant, but says it has a stage thst rises up in it and that is where they will perform. I can't think of where this is - can you figure out where it is? Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't know of any stage that rises at the MK. I know Tomorrowland Terrace at Disneyland has a stage that rises.

I can't think of one either and that is why it is driving me crazy. At first, I thought it may be a stage at Galaxy Palace Theatre, but she says it is in a restaurant. :confused3 Maybe she will remember to ask her teacher tomorrow.

The stage at Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland moves. That is the only stage I can think of. Hope this helps!

Cosmic Rays used to be called Tomorrowland Terrace @ the MK... many, many years ago my parents used to drag us there to watch a band called Tabasco peform songs of the 80's :rotfl: and it was on the stage that rises from beneath the floor :)

That has got to be it. She said it was in Tomorrow Land. She is in middle school and has only been there one time. I carried her for a day when she was 7 yrs old - we were in Daytona and I carried her and her little brother because they had never been and we had been for an extended vacation the year before and I wanted them to exerience some of the magic! She is soooo excited and we are so proud of her!

But does the stage still rise, now that Sonny Eclipse performs there all the time?

I remember this band...too funny! :)

Cosmic Rays! A friend at school performed there when he was in high school. He said it was so much fun!
The stage with Sunny Eclipse rise up into the ceiling if I'm correct. And that brings up an empty performance stage.
Performing at Disney was the greatest thing I've ever done. I've been able to march down Main St. in both DW and DL, and perform at two other stages/theaters at each. Amazing. Hope she has fun!:thumbsup2
