I'm booked on my first Disney Cruise in Sept 2008. I'll be on the special Magic 5 night trip and I'm really excited about it.

Today while messing around, I found that I can do the Dec 16, 2007 for less than 2500! ( 4 of us in a cat 11) Just 4 nights but we're an easy drive from there AND I'd get to see the Xmas decorations. I'm really thinking about booking this TOO! My hubby didn't sound too impressed on the phone, but I've already informed him if it doesn't work out for him, I'd leave him home..:lmao: It would be a good Christmas gift for the kids, don't you think?

Ahhhh! That "messing around" will get you in trouble everytime!! :rotfl: I think most of the Disney cruise addicted people around here are going to say "sounds great!" and "go for it!". Anytime someone is super excited about booking a cruise is a good thing!! The price sounds great for the time of year! And as far as being a good Christmas present for the kids---- I think it's the best!

Oh boy, you sound as addicted to DCL as me. LOL! It's so easy to get that way when you live locally. <BG> I personally think you should go for it! The ship is beautifully decorated for the holidays, their is a giant gingerbread decorated house (just like at the resorts) and it smells yummy. It will make you crave a gingerbread cookie. <BG> Castaway Cay is also decked out as well and it too will offer a great holiday photo with a huge Christmas tree and they serve christmas cookies as you come ashore. :) We just sailed in December for our annual Christmas get togther with our family and I highly reccomend it. :)

I SAY BOOK IT! :yay: :santa:

Yes, the 'messing around'. That is part of the reason we are going in 2 weeks  . I say go for it.

Hey Tammy! I am Tammy too!!

Anyway, I did the four night Dec. 17th 2006 and I would say go for it! The Christmas decorations were great and the weather was very nice.

You talk of losing your mind like it's a bad thing :rotfl2:
We are all DIS-addicts (well, most of us) and who could turn down a cruise? - btw, dollars to doughnuts hubby comes along :rolleyes1

Be careful with that messing around... I called for a quote on a cruise today and "accidentally" managed to pay in FULL for an April 2007 cruise!!! I thought I was putting down a deposit... Yeah... not so much!!! :lmao:

I was "messing" around too and then told DH about the 4 day 2 stops at Castaway for summer '08, and he said "We're Going". I was able to hold him off in booking until we're on the Nov 4th - 4 day. Guess I'll have to book onboard to keep him happy. Do they still give an onboard booking discounts for the 4 day?

You're not losing your mind. It has merely been taken over by the mouse!:rotfl: Must book cruise! Must book cruise!:rotfl2:

You would be better off booking now to avoid any fare increases that would come about before you cruise in November. The fare increase could be much more than you would save by rebooking onboard.
Remember the motto: book early for best savings.

If you think you're losing your mind, that means all of us that have cruised DCL more than once have already lost ours. :rotfl2:

I'd say go for it. You will not regret anything.

I did it! I booked the Decomber 16th at a great price ( at least considering that the cruise the following week is more than 2000 more):cool1:
