Hey everyone,

I've looked at the photos for using Ariel's as a Reception Location. Am I right in assuming that there will be other people in Ariel's at the same time as your reception? If that's so, can other people enter your area - can they reach the dancefloor? It looks lovely there, but I'm a little concerned about "uninvited guests", especially when the characters arrive. Also, what kind of decoration are you allowed? Can you decorate alot or are there restrictions?

Hi, we're having our reception at Ariel's. You and your party are the only ones it Ariel's at the time of the reception. I think you may be confused b/c you share the bathroom facilities w/ guests of the Beach Club and the Cape May Cafe.

I am not sure about decoration restrictions. We're just having centerpieces and some flower arrangements around our cake and sweetheart table, so I know those are allowed. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thanks for the help! Is there a minimum number of guests that are necessary to book Ariels? What made you chose Ariel's? Congratulations!!!

We chose Ariel's b/c the BC is our favorite resort, and we're having the ceremony at SBP so we wanted our guests to be able to walk from the ceremony to the reception. Also, our wedding is going to be kind of relaxed, and I felt a ballroom setting would be too formal. I also like the decorations; it just feels "beachy". You do not need a minimum number of guests, but the maximum number of guests is 75. Also, you can only have a buffet at Ariel's.

Good luck planning and congrats to you too :)

I was told last week that Ariels is unavailable in 2008 due to WDW turning it back into a restaurant. Ask your CM

Thank you for all of your information - I just read above that Ariel's won't be available in 2008 :(

Our reception is at Ariel's. We chose it because it's private and decorated just enough that not much is needed. You're in the back of the Beach club facing the pool area, and when we are having our wedding it's Value season so when we went to see the site there was barely anyone in the pool. We are gonna have just centerpieces and few little things to decorate, but like i said it's basically already decorated, it used to be a restaurant. There is no minimum number of guests, but the Max for Ariel's is 70, although we have 86 on our guest list. Happy Planning!

That sounds so lovely - I just found out that Ariel's is unavailable in 2008 - so no Ariel's for me :(

Thank you for the information though! Good luck with your wedding plans!!:cutie:

Really? Oh noooo! Noooo! Are you sure? There goes my plan!!! :scared1:

I know I was allset to have my reception there in february of 2008 and my sm told me as of like 2 weeks ago, the site is unavailable. Im sorry. It would have been the perfect site duo

That must have been awful for you to just find out! Have you decided on anywhere else yet? I was also thinking of the GF...
