Please tell me the current incentives for DVC owners who want to add-on

We currently own at SSR and are strongly considering adding on. Here are our questions:
Will we get the F&F discount.
Are the 200 points from 2006 available?
Are there closing costs or downpayment help?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Current owners can get the $86 pricing for a SSR add-on of 115 or more points. Fewer points (50-114) are still at $91 per point and you will get points from the current Use Year (Use Year will be the same as your present contract) - so if you have a February Use Year, these will also be February points. I think 25-49 points will still be full price ($101).

Financing is available for add-ons of 50 or more points with normal downpayment (10% minimum). There have not been closing costs for add-ons - only with first-time purchases.

I just added on at VWL with a March use year. I purchased 40 points, they were 95 each. I received last years (2006) points, and was able to bank them with no questions asked. And this years, I did not have to pay maintenance on those points (at least not that I am aware of), I out the purchase on my credit card. Within 3 days of my telephone call, the points were in my account!

In all of the cases you mention, you will get points from the current Use Year with your purchase. Since there is no January UY, everybody is still in their '06 UY so anyone adding on before the end of January should get '06UY points with their purchase. Those with Feb UYs are less than 3 weeks from the end of their '06 UY and should confirm with their guide whether or not they would get '06 points with an add-on purchased prior to Feb 1st, and whether or not they will be able to bank those '06 points.

With a Mar UY you are still in your '06 UY so the points you got with your purchase are "current" UY points. When you close on the add-on, you will be billed for the 2007 dues pro-rated from the day you got those '06 points in your account. Since it's so close to the start of the year, the dues will be close to a full year's worth.

So it's a great deal! You get a full set of '06 points but only pay about 2 months' worth of the normal dues for those points (the rest of the '07 dues you will be billed for cover the first 10 months of the add-on's '07 points). And you get to bank them even though you are past all banking deadlines!

When purchasing an add-on, your first set of points are the points for the UY in effect on the purchase date. With an Oct UY, you are in your 2006 Use Year until Oct 1, 2007 at which point you will be in your 2007 Use Year. So if you purchase an add-on at any DVC resort prior to Oct 1,2007 they will start you off with Oct '06 points. If you purchase on/after Oct 1, 2007, your first points will be Oct '07 points.

The dues will always be pro-rated from the day they put the points into your account (usually 24 hours after you pay your deposit).

Yes the $91/pt price is for SSR only ($10 off the current list price of $101). OKW is $92, BCV, BWV and VWL are $95/pt. Not sure about the current prices at VB and HHI. At one time they were available for $87/pt but that might have been a limited-time offer, otherwise I think they are the same price as OKW.
