SR ?-- Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

I hate to sound like I'm whining, but I find that more and more frequently I'm not getting credit for trials and offers I've signed up for on SR. I know it's basically "free money" and I sign up with every intention of cancelling, so I really feel guilty for complaining. I hesitate to do a bunch of trouble tickets, because it says not to before 30 days. By then, I would probably have had to cancel. I also hate to trouble Tricia when, like I said, it's free money.
What I really want to know is, how does my experience compare with others who have been at this for longer than me? Do you just figure, "you win some, you lose some" or am I doing something wrong?:confused3

In general, if you have not received credit for something within a week, we did not get credit for it. And if you do not receive credit for more than a couple things that you sign up for in a row, there is a problem. Maybe a cookie issue? Or two people using the same IP address?

If you are not getting credit for some of the little things like the .10 you get for putting in an email address, it is likely because you are already in their database. But if you are not getting credits for things that everyone is getting credit for (like Blockbuster, Scholastic, 4inkjets, etc), we definitely need to talk!!

I do alot of the same thing. Sign up for things and then cancel, but I think many others do the same. So far there maybe one or two small things I have not gotten credit for. Mostly the very small amounts and I rack that up to my fault. If I sign up for something and it does not come through and I have kept good records I do a trouble ticket. I think that has only happen once and the issue was resolved very quickly. Sometimes I feel guilty, but they are the ones that put the offer on the table.

You're not alone! I have done doba, shoppers advantage and as a last resort to see if i would get credit i did the inkjets offer. I received credit for none of them. I did complete home on the same day as doba and shoppers advantage and got credit for that one but not the other ones:confused3 I have cleared my cookies before i do the offers like everyone says too. Almost every offer i have done i have had to ask for credit.

I have now switched to signing up for things at quickrewards and have received credit for every one of them.

I have had trouble tickets open for over a month but haven't received a reply to one of them and the other one she said she would try to get the credit for it. If i am not going to get credited i would at least like an answer back,so i know for sure.

That sure is strange. I have done all of those you mentioned and the credit came very quickly. I would talk to Trica.

I usually find that I do not receive credit for the stupid little .50 and below offers so I am just doing the paid clicks and the daily scratch off until I hit $20 and can cash out. I use to receive credit for these items all the time but not lately so its a waste of time to try any more. I have much better luck with other sites.

I have never had problems getting my credit. There was a few of the smaller offers that I didn't credit for but I figure I have already done them through another rewards sites (I do so many that it's hard to keep track). Hopefully you can get the issue resolved!

I haven't had any problems either. I did have a couple of purchases that I didn't receive credit for, and sent in trouble tickets, but then realized I did not have my receipts for the purchases, so I have not followed through. I'm always surprised to hear of people not getting credit with SR. I love SR!!

I have rarely had a problem either! Esp for the paid trial sign ups. I think in the 100s of purchases, sign-ups and clicks I have done on SR, I can only think of maybe 3-4 that I was absolutely sure I did correctly (there have been a couple where I wasn't sure if I was a member before or that maybe the purchase didn't qualify, etc) and then had to submit a ticket. At I think 2 of those Tricia gave me credit for. Still waiting on 1-2, but overall, I think her site is really efficient and she tries hard to come to a good result for her customers.

Thanks for all the replies everybody!:goodvibes You guys are so helpful!!! I will have to check into that "cookie" thing. Obviously, I'm not real computer savvy and I'm at the mercy of the men in my life (DH and 2 teenage boys) for most computer issues.
I did receive credit for one of the ones I thought I wouldn't--I guess I'm too impatient. And the other ones (except Stamps.com) are all too little to mess with.
I still LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sunshine Rewards  and will continue to do paid signups...and sunshine scratch-off...and daily opinion surveys...and paid clicks....and shopping...and .... well, you get the picture! It's amazing how excited I get when I get 3 cents on the scratch-off! But it's also amazing how fast it all adds up! :cool1:

The only sign up I haven't got credit for is the Ideal Bite. It was up at first for .25 cents and I signed up. I've received the newsletter but didn't get credit. Then the offer disappeared (which usually means you got credit), then re-appeared as only a .10 cent offer. So I figure the problem is with them and not Sunshine!

I did this one today. Hope I get the .10!
