Does this resale even make sense?

Correct. Whomever posted that does not know what they are talking about. DVC is points based only. There are no set units, no set weeks and it is not biennial.

yes but 9,000 points for $9,000 dollars - that is a joke.

DVC would definitely buy it back. Either someone doesn't understand what they are selling. maybe someone died the new owner doesn't want it?????

but 9,000 points???? when the ad implies that they don't have enough points to go every year. this has got to be a mistake.

:lmao: So if I buy this timeshare I get to use river country?? sold :lmao: Oh also 10% off regular park passes? since when :woohoo:

But yeah... dvc doesn't sell weeks or "biennial" deeds :confused3
and 9000 points for $9000 with $552.50/year maintenence fee's? Sign me up :thumbsup2

Seriously though if that maintenence fee number is correct, if you take 2007 maintenence fee's for BCV ($4.63/pt) and divide that by it you only get about 120 points... which would mean about $75/pt. Which would only be enough for a 1BR if you banked and went every other year (hence the biennial). Definetely misleading people with this.

I just don't understand how these "professionals" can be so incompetent. Three quarters of the ad proves they have no idea what they are selling.

$75/point sounds good to me.

Where do these things come from???? Lots of inept resellers out there!

Okay, so I filled out the form and got an email back saying they didn't understand my question, but they would ask the owner.:lmao:

I've wondered something about this kind of add. I've seen adds in the past for vintage cars where it stated " will double in value in 2 years" and other such things. Could the seller be held liable if his/her claim didn't happen. Whose responsibility is it for blatant errors in listings. What if you had your heart set on a day at River Country?

No mention of Disney's ROFR either, which would surely occur if an offer was actually made for $75/point.
