I have a room reserved at Pop for my arrival on January 16th.. Originally my sister was going to drive down from Lady Lake and pick me up at the airport and then we would head over to Pop..

As of today, there has been a change in plans though and she won't be able to join me until a couple of days later.. Now I need to get from MCO to Pop and I didn't check the box for ME when I made my reservations on-line.. (I won't need it for my return flight because I'll be going to my sisters for most of the winter once we leave Pop on the 21st..)

Is there any way I can fix this now? $60 for a one-way ride isn't looking too appealing to me.. :(

**DOUBLE SHOOT!! Called for the ME and I think I got that straightened out, but guess what? Went to check on my airline reservations (that I changed when the DING fare came out) and they WEREN'T THERE!!!! Just talked to SW and they sent me a new email - but it's only the "itinerary" - specifically says "not a receipt" - and not the actual confirmation.. Grrrr..

I don't know where my head is lately.. Could someone just SHOOT me and put me out of my misery????

Sure.

Just call.

The toll-free number is in at least one, if not all, the Magical Express-related sticky threads at the top of this board. I'm 100% positive (okay, 97%) that it's on the first page of the "What participating airline really means..." sticky; it starts with 1-866.

All you have to do is call, here is the number from one of the stickey posts

The number to call to book is (866) 599-0951

866-599-0951.

You're fine. Reservations are supposed to be made no fewer than 10 days in advance.

You may even get lucky and get your DME packet in the mail before you leave, too. If you don't, no worries. That paperwork is nice to have but isn't absolutely necessary.

If you don't get your packet in time, and you want ME to transport your luggage, put something distinctive on your bags (ribbons, stickers, etc.) so that DME will have an even easier time spotting them than just your airline luggage tags and a description (unless your luggage is unlike any of the usual colors).
(An unsolicited suggestion, I know:) .)

Thanks1 Although I was assured that the tags would arrive in time, I really have my doubts.. And "who" do I give this information to so they know what bags to look for? :confused3

Everyone who uses DME has to check in at the DME Welcome Center. As part of the process, the CM will ask if you put the DME tags on your bags. You'll say you didn't, and it'll go from there.

As CleveRocks said, when you get to the DME counter at MCO you tell them your info.:thumbsup2

Ah, ye of little faith. My information didn't come, and didn't come, and didn't come - and when I finally called, they didn't have any record of a reservation for me. The very nice CM sent my DME packet Express, and I had it in about four days. (note to self: time for new travel agent).

Every time I've gone to Disney, I received my "confirmations" AFTER I came home.. LOL..

Not holding my breath on the tags...;)
