I will be using Magic Express and have registered and requested a wheel chair lift. I need to know about how long it will take from arrival at MCO to getting to the Hotel since I am renting a car from the Dolphin and need to know time to reserve it for.
we fly in at 1:30 PM and are going to POR I assume husband will take a cab from there to the Dolphin to pick up the car. any ideas on cab fare?

so if we get in at 1:30 what time can I figure to get to the POR and then Dolphin to collect the car?
Thanks

The "normal" time from landing to arrival at your resort is around 70 minutes. Not all the buses are equped with a lift. You might have to wait.

Can your husband pick up the car at the airport and meet you at POR?

It is actually more expensive to rent the car from the airport. and if we did that then we might as well just transport ourselves and the chair in the car. once at WDW we will have two ECV's to transport and that is why we are renting a SUV in the first place.

I am hoping that since I have registered with them stating the need for the wheel chair ramp equipped bus and with our flight time that they will in fact have the right vehicle there, but I certainly don't feel comfortable counting on that. But I don't want to miss our car reservation by arriving too late to pick it up either.
If they would just transport the luggage to the hotel that would have meant we could just rent at the airport but you must also ride the bus.

I would add about a half hour to the typical 70 minute mark. 15 minutes to board, and 15 minutes to disembark. Chances are it will only take 5 each way, but it's better to plan for Murphy and his law.

What's the difference in rates if you rent from the Car Care Center? I know the hours there are longer than at the Dolphin, but I don't know the exact hours.

Also, are you planning to disassemble the ECVs to transport them? I'm not sure you can fit two 'whole' ECVs in an SUV, never mind getting them in and out :)
