We leave in 25 days and I have not yet planned which days we will be in which parks with the exception of our 1st day which will be MK. I am feeling a little overwhelmed trying to figure it all out-crowd levels, when and where our ADRs are, which attractions we want to see etc. I am usually really good at planning and enjoy doing it so I'm not sure why I'm having issues. On our last trip during Spring Break 2012 I had everything planned well in advance and it worked out really well. We are staying on property this time and I'm not sure if that's what is intimidating me? I am in the school of thought that we should avoid EMH but DH wants to take advantage of them...it's making it challenging for sure. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest, maybe now I can actually try to start this process.

I am sure I misplaced whatever explained it. I have my pictures on the photopass site, I've looked at them, and I am ready to get them - how do I do it? Thanks for any help you can give me! :)

Hi! I was not sure where I should post this but I since I saw other photo pass threads here I figured I would just post it here.

We just got back from Disney on Saturday and the first thing I did Saturday night was go online and enter my three photo pass card numbers. I had already pre-ordered the CD and was so excited to see the pictures. This was a big family trip with both my family and DH's family. Since both his and my parents are split up this is something that doesn't happen often and I wanted to be sure to have pictures! Once I entered everything in and looked through the photos I realized we are missing about 20 pictures, all taken at the same location. These were when we first entered Magic Kingdom and took the time to take family photos, likely the only family photos with both parents either of us will have with our son. Since I had the photo pass card I didn't bother having anyone take pictures with my camera as well. I believe what happen is that the photographer forgot to scan the card. I have sent in the missing pictures form from the photo pass website, but haven't heard back yet.

Has anyone ever had anything like this happen? If so were the pictures found? I hate to admit it but I am freaking out a bit, if it were any other photos it wouldn't be nearly as bad, but these were by far the most important photos we took on the whole trip. :worried:

Greetings everyone!
I'm new here, so I'm sure Photo Pass, etc. has been discussed somewhere around here previously, and if that's the case, please feel free to share the link.

We last went to Disney in 2005, so a lot has changed since then. I have read all sorts of opinions and descriptions about Photo Pass and Photo Pass+. Quite honestly, I'm having difficulty discerning the differences. For every thumbs up I read about it, I soon after encounter a few thumbs down.

Here's why I'm interested in purchasing it:

*We are hoping to go to a character meal.
*Our daughter is 13, so we will be riding just about all of the rides that offer the attractions option.
*I am usually the one taking the pictures, and I rarely have any taken with my daughter or as a whole family.
*I think it will be a fun challenge to see just how many photos we can have taken during our five-day visit.
*I know that there are often some extra touches that can be added to the photos.

So...tell me what you know about Photo Pass (and derivatives thereof) and what you like or dislike about it. I want to hear all pros and cons.

Thanks!

I apologize if this is not the right spot to post my questions :)

I'm planning a family trip to Disney (our first!) in January 2014! It'll be me, my husband and our 2 year old who will be 1 month shy of 3 at the time of travel. We're looking at January 4-11.

I was going to go through Liberty Travel, but after a week of no response I've been thinking of doing it myself! We wanted to stay at the AOA resort, cars themed room. I was curious if I'd be going about this in the right way...
I was going to call Disney and book the hotel room, and I can also purchase our tickets to Orlando via Southwest. Since air tickets only go up to January 5, I'd have to purchase our return home tickets at a later date. I was also going to purchase all park tickets at a later date as well (unless I can book with hotel).

Does this sound like a good plan? I've never planned a trip before, and with this being Disney it's a little overwhelming! I was also going to get 5 day park tickets with park hopper, and one day at Sea World if possible.

Any advice and tips are appreciated! Thank you in advance :)
