Hi my husband has just found out he has a conference to go to september 19-21 at Waldorf Astoria Orlando.. We were going to go to disneyland during that time but perfect opportunity to jump over to the east coast instead. The size of disneyworld freaks me out.

There is DH, myself and our three daughters 3,6 and 8.

I don't know where to start. Where to stay or anything. I have tried to do some reading but it is all very overwhelming. We were looking at leaving Sydney on 13th September and returning 27th Sept. maybe going to New York for 5 days before disney.

I told a friend of our plans and she told me I was mad as it is smack bang in the middle of hurricane season . What are your thoughts on this? Is it really a huge thing? I am such a chicken.

All I know is I really want to go to a Halloween party- miss 7 has always wanted to go trick or treating as that is Daddy's birthday so what a perfect opportunity to do it disney style.

Please help me.

Best way to purchase Annual Pass

Me and my friends was all residents of Southern California and we're going to Disneyland in 1 week on June 1st. We want to get the Deluxe Annual Passport and get on the monthly payment plan. Per the Disneyland website, an annual pass can be purchased at the ticket window with a down payment of 1 day admission ($81)

The problem for us is that we want to bypass the line at the ticket window. If we buy our tickets at the ticket window, we have to stand in line at the ticket booth then stand in line again at the annual pass place.

We could buy the annual pass online and bring it to the turnstile, but my friend's current annual pass doesn't expire until May 31. We want our passes to renew at the same time. We were thinking about just buying a park hopper ticket ($125) and upgrading to an annual passport, but don't know how the monthly payments would work if we did that. Would the monthly payments be less since we're paying more upfront?

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!

Hi all! I'm new to this site so I hope I did this right, if not I'm sorry. I have a family trip coming up next month to Disney World!!:yay: We have a family of 27 going and for some of us it will be our first time there! I've been looking all over for family shirts to wear to Disney and the one site I did find I was able to design my own shirt so I found some Disney pics made the shirt and then the company said they couldn't use anything that had Disney stuff on it!:( :worried: I stumbled onto this site, and Im hoping someone can PLEASE DISign a shirt for us. We also have kids coming on the trip and I wanted something that said "My 1st time to Disney World with the kids name on it. I have a pic of the shirt I made and maybe something can be used off of it. My trip is June 17th -24th I hope it's not to late. Thanks in advance!

I am finally starting to understand, I think, the parks, resorts, and restaurant options at WDW, now onto entertainment. What is not to miss for a first timer?
In reference to parades (mid-May), nighttime entertainment, and shows.

So far what I have seen that interests us is:
Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade and Festival of the LK in AK

Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade, Main St Electrical Parade, and Wishes at MK

IllumiNations in EPCOT

Am I missing anything?? We have seen Fantasmic! many times here at DLR. Since we will only be dedicating 1 day to DHS, we will most likely skip this show to do other things (we are hoping this day will be coordinated with a SWW 2014).

Thank you for your help!!
