The higher the catergory, the higher the cost, the more DCL makes. So this would be an incentive to book higher. For instance, Inside rooms - $100; Oceanviews - $200; Verandahs - $300; Concierge - $400.

Or is it easier to just offer 10% of the cruise fare (excluding taxes) as OBC?

Either way, they are both incentives to book higher more expensive staterooms.

We have three kids (9, 8, and 4) who love to swim. I know we would like to do the stingray adventure for the older kids but what else are must-dos? How is the kid's club at Castaway Cay if my husband and I want to do something like the kayak (another thing I have never done) and walking trip? I hear the beach is very nice so I don't want to overbook and not just have time to swim and relax but we are there two days.

Soooo, has something changed since 2008? Is Southwest like Jetblue, now?
