I love Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh. That is a great picture. Of all the many times I have been to Disneyland, and even the 2 times we were at WDW...we have never seen him in person. Just the other 4...Maybe someday he will happen to be there when we are :teeth:

DH and I are going to DL for the first time in December 06 or January 07 ( been many times to Florida and now we want to see if we like Cali too!!)...we loved this white witch pic and I want one!!!

As you walk through Sleeping Beauty's Castle into Fantasyland to the right in the corner is a Narnia set up for the White Witch, complete with snow for her entrance.

Blackjackdelta, you need to close the IMG tag when you use it. So you'd have an [/IMG] at the end of the photo URL, and [IMG] at the beginning. I had to explain it backwards or the forum would think I was trying to link another photo.

I'm cracking up seeing MamaKate's daughter asleep at the character meal! I'm hoping my kids will have soooo much fun there that they, too, will crash as soon as we relax. Oh, I can't wait to go!!! (My first trip to DL, too!)

Those are some of my favorite pictures!! I didn't even think of her taking pictures with the characters, but Baloo insisted on a picture with her and then I asked chip afterward. I wish I thought of it earlier and got other character pictures while see was asleep. Dale did write a special note in her autograph book while she was asleep.

Earlier in the day we did the "Discover the Magic" tour, which is about 3-4 hours of running around Disneyland. We met a family on the tour who were also staying at the Disneyland Hotel my kids and theirs same for about 3 hours.

We had a long day and I knew she was tired but she begged me to eat at Goofy's Kitchen. She ate 1 bite of pizza and fell asleep. The manager, who saw her asleep, was nice enough to remove her meal from the bill.

After her nap at dinner I thought she would like to go back to the room and sleep, but she was refreshed and wanted to go back to the parks for the evening :confused3 .

I have a LOT of character pics cuz my girls are 4 and 6 but this is probably my absolute fav.

I just LOVE how Prince Phillip hugged my daughter and think it is SO cute.

He was so enamoured with her too he wrote this big long paragraph in her autograph book. It was VERY sweet

I only have two of my most recent trips on my computer but I found a few more that I just love.

I like different pics. I have tons of just the kids standing next to the characters but I like unusual ones so these are my fav of that type.

This is not actual characters but I just loved how this turned out.

This is also one I thought was cute. Usually we just get the little ones in the pic but mom and I were off taking the girls around ariel's grotto on the dance thing and so pluto came by and took a bunch of pics with my dad, husband and stepdaughter. This is hubby and dss.

This is my youngest with Prince Phillip and eventhough you don't see their faces I love how this implies a sweetness of him talking to her.

And these are from our trip to Disneyworld this past Oct.

We have never gotten one with Mushu and we saw him and the girls ran up to him and he grabbed their hands and walked them to a picture spot. I got one of them after they got there but I liked this one of them walking with him better.

And lastly the girls just HAD to see the power rangers while we were at the studios. We waited for like an hour but we got pictures with almost all of them. This was my fav cuz they were really getting into it with their poses.

We actually got the ears on our last Disney cruise. They give them out at the end of the trip in a graduation ceremony onboard for the little kids. I don't believe you can buy them. :confused3

Awww, those are all darling photos! I like looking at the ones with children. Okay, I'm not a child anymore, but I still like to pose with characters whenever I see them. I got this picture with Sorcerer Mickey on January 22nd. It's not a favorite, but most recent! I like how the flash bounced off the wall right above his hand. It looks like he's holding a magic ball of light! :wizard:

Here's help on the way.

First find a photo hosting site. I like free so mine is photobucket.com. You can use Yahoo and even the DIS. Any way, from photobucket, you have to register. Then, when you are ready to upload click the browse button. It will pull up your computer directory. find the photo you want to upload and press the "submit" button. Your picture should appear on the bottom of the screen. What you'll want to do next is highlight the [img] http:nsfndn.fldkfj[img] and copy that line. Then, go back to your post your working on and paste. You should see the [img]asfd[img]. Once you submit your post, the picture should be visable.

Thanks!! I thought it was cute. We were at Toontown for morning madness and all the characters had lines to meet them, but Donald was in his boat, alone. He kept peeking his head out the window, when I spotted him. We got some great interaction since no one knew he was in there :thumbsup2

We went opening night for the midnight showing and the Cars were out front. It was totally unexpected and very awesome! I believe the Cars are going to be at DCA starting July 21st in the Block Party Bash parade, starting it out or something?

Hey Alices mom where was he? I have tried to find him my last 3 trips to DL...

We actually did not know there was a Capt. Jack at the park.

We were there this last Tues and we saw him walking past the Tiki Room, I did such a double take. So I asked a CM about it and they said he indeed is around dodging in and out. So we decided to eat at Bengal BBQ and stake him out.

He went into the behind the scenes doors right at the Bengal BBQ.

So again I asked a CM "if he goes in those doors does he come out of them?" in which he replied, "yes."

Sure enough about 15 minutes later he did and we caught him!! We had to be quick, but it was fun...plus Bengal BBQ is really good!

We took our daughter (who turned 20 months that day) to Disneyland for the first time last week. She had a great time. She was a little scared of the characters like Mickey, Chip/Dale, etc, but she LOVED the princesses.....

Back in 1984 during my family's visit to DL, we encountered the Pinocchio bad
guy (fox??) on the right. He played around with me (I was *cough cough* 5 at the time). This was my first encounter with a character. I remember it was on Main Street as soon as we walked unter the train station. Anyways, I had on my cute velcro Roos (taking it WAAAAAAYYYY back ;) and kicking it old school style), and this CHARACTER (the one I spoke of earlier) approaches me and decides to STEAL my shoe! Off he went, "running" down the street. Well of course the fashionista I was/am began balling :sad1: my eyes out at the loss of my beloved shoe. My parents thought this was so cute and took a few pictures. It's funny to look back at thoose pics now. Of course he came back and handed my shoe back to me, but that was it...traumatized for life by him. So yeah...needless to say I don't like thoses Pinocchio baddies!

*I did take a picture with him last year at WDW. I thought it was good therapy to face my fear. He didn't steal my shoe, and I walked away a champion!

Note youngest DD, whom DH is holding, screaming and thrashing to get away. Moments before, she had been SO excited to see Pooh - she was a huge Pooh fan at that age. She took off on a beeline for Pooh, had to see Pooh... then Pooh moved. he even reached down to hug her! It all went downhill from there. Pooh was huge, and alive, and he was going to eat her, she was just sure of it. She wouldn't have anything else to do with characters for the rest of the trip.

Ha! Well in all honesty I was in the right place at the right time. I have seen the Wonderland characters all together before but I just happened upon this. First Alice sat down next to a girl then Mad Hatter sat then they all did. They were sitting around telling stories to the kids. Then they all decided to take a nap. Mad Hatter said "I'm going to take a nap" and they all went to sleep! I love this photo!

...the cool part about it was that she was naming all of the characters she wanted to see on the way there. She specifically named Alice, Pinocchio, Chip & Dale, Goofy and of course others like (Mickey, Minnie, Snow White, etc). Seeing these characters in the car was great because she got to see more than half of who she named :)

A few weeks ago with Princess Jasmine. DD was A LOT happier than she looks (she was actually shrieking and squealing with excitement...that's just her fake smile *rolls eyes*)..

My dd got to ride with Minnie on the roller coaster in toon town one day. We just went to take her on the ride and the park was dead, and there was Minnie and Goofy standing at the loading platform. She took my dd (3 at the time) by the hand and gestured that she ride with her. I of course said yes yes yes, then thought OMG dd has not been on this ride what if she is scared! Thank goodness all was ok!

I don't know if its just luck or the park has to be quiet that day?????:confused3

esp . those posing with their extended family..;)

the one that caught my attention [by association], was hrhL.'s
girl. ~~~well she certainly has the face of ariel 's daughter~~~

& probably the spunk too? melodoly ~~~too bad disney didn't
invest a lil'more {talent} in to the spin off....:confused3 , however,

due to our lil'princess: ~~~~ babysitting sessions, i was stuck
watching this sequel ...oh,, probably 2~ thousand X. those songs were
nerve wreckin, over & over...:laughing: but she never got tired of it.
[ i rather listened to "it's a small world..................popcorn::

thes are not character pics..per say, but they were created by her
2002 visit one morning....right after we returned. * she made these
costumes up herself....:hug: . i was watching football, when i heard her
singing "part of your world"...

trip..2004, [ the doll was sent to her after we mailed copies for ariel
to keep...and a reminder how important they are. :goodvibes ]

This little man was SO PROUD to be standing right next to Captain Jack! The other guests in line were getting ancy because the Captain kept asking my son questions and instructing him on how to be a pirate.
