YIPPEE!!! I'm so excited. I just called WDW and booked DS6 and DS4 trip on 4/20 for Grand Floridian Pirate Cruise. I also got a reservation at 10:00 for the Grand Floridian Cafe for DH and I. Has anyone been there? Is it good?

My DS (6) is on the same cruise!!! We have 8 a.m. reservations at Park Fare for the character breakfast first.... then while he's on the cruise, I'm getting my nails done!
Last year, I ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe while waiting for him and the breakfast was wonderful... freshly squeezed OJ, wonderful coffee.... it was very good.
See you there!!

Kimmielee...that's awesome to actually know someone else that is going on that cruise!!! :cool1:
The boys are so excited but I don't think they totally understand since Disney is unbelievable until you've actually been there.
The person that I made the reservations with said that only 10 kids can be booked. We'll have to try to point each other out somehow and say Hi. It would be nice to put a face to a name.

:bounce: :bounce: I just saw this on the Travel Channel and fell in love with it. Can you tell me more about it? How long is it and how much does it cost? I would love for my four year old to give it a try. I'm very excited for you!!!!

My kids did this for the first time in July. They really enjoyed it. I believe it was $30 a child and it lasted about two hours. I am going to try to sign them up for the albatross cruise this summer. They also did the cooking class at the GF. We were just watching some footage of them trying to hand out their desserts they made. They would try to give it to the guests and people would give them the snottiest looks. The girls who ran the class said they couldn't leave until they hadn't given everything out. We were there forever!

When my little guy did it about 15 months ago he LOVED it... we left there and headed to MK via the mono-rail... and straight to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and then the gift shop... it was so neat to tie the two together.
There were more than 10 kids last year though, perhaps there are only 10 spots left! We'll be sure to say hello!
