Hi gang! I had been contacted some time ago that this new section fo the DIS would be on the horizon so I'm so excited that it's now up and running. I hope everyone from all walks of life feels welcome here and is willing to post often!

The creation and implementation of this particular board was entirely Pete Werner's (DIS owner) decision and I had nothing to do with it! I'm just a lowly mod, nothing more!

I'm sure a simple and straightforward board title helps folks to find it easier, but I bet you came up with some creative names! I'm hetero, and had never heard the phrase "friend of dorothy" until I saw it on the original thread, but when I saw that, I thought "Friend of Mickey" might apply!

Congratulations Rick on the new Mod title. I think you will be great and fair. I must have been sleeping or something because today was the first day I even noticed the new board. I am a creature of habit and always head straight to the CB. I hope you still find some time to wonder over there every once in awhile. You will be missed by a lot of us over there. In return I promise to stop by here often and try to keep up with all the goings on. For the rest of the folks here I am not Gay but have exchanged PM's with Rick and can tell you he is a great guy and you are all very lucky to have him around.
