Disney’s/MGM Studios
The studios are my hubby’s favourite park. Again we would arrive at the park for opening, I’d leg it to Tower of Terror for a FastPass, then we would ride RockNRollerCoaster (sometimes twice), then it would be time for our usual fattening breakfast of cookies/danishes etc. We would then use our FP for ToT.

Now eldest DD hasn’t enjoyed ToT since it broke down on us last year, so this year we timed our FP’s so that me and hubby could do ToT twice, and the girls could do RnRc twice. On one occasion while we waited for them we went off to get FP’s for Star Tours, took photos and met up with Mike & Sully from Monsters Inc. We kept saying we were getting practice in for when the girls are too old to come with us. (Kerry has insisted that she will not be going to Ibiza with her friends when she is older, as she’ll be coming with us – if only I could get that drawn up by a solicitor – we’ll see) .

After meeting up with the girls we went to see the Beauty & the Beast show, we haven’t seen this for a few years and it was still wonderful to watch. Lunch for all of us was probably Chicken strips & fries (oh there’s a surprise). While we were there we met up with Christmas Stitch. Chip & Dale had just left and Stitch was taking over much to our delight. As we were one of the first families, Stitch was loads of fun with the girls, he walked off with Becky (who was more than happy to leave with him), then he took Kerry’s tinsel scrunchy out of her pony-tail and put it in her fringe, making it all stick out, well we were in bits, thankfully we caught it all on video, so we’ll never forget that moment.

We also went one evening for the Osborne lights, the lights were lovely, there was snow coming down and there was Christmas music being piped out. We took some video and had some photos taken with Santa Goofy and Reindeer Pluto.

On our last full day, hubby hadn’t been well in the night, and the girls wanted to be at MGM for 7am opening. Paul was unable to get out of bed, so we quickly got changed and ran across a very foggy and cold car park to get the bus. We arrived for opening, Kerry was feeling brave so we got ToT FP’s, then we went off to do RnRc a couple of times. We then did ToT, had breakfast and went to watch The Voyage of the Little Mermaid, it had been about 6 years since I last saw this and it hadn’t changed much. Then we went to see MuppetVision 3D, after that we wandered over to see the Beauty & the Beast show again. On our way over, hubby rang to say he was feeling much better and he was coming to join us and within 15 minutes he had joined us at the B&TB show. I promised the girls lunch at Pizza Planet, and as Paul wasn’t eating, us girls had 2 vegetarian pizzas and Cheese & Tomato pizza – lovely !!
It was getting very busy and the FP’s for ToT were now 3.40pm, so we got some and went back to the hotel for a sunbathe as it was one of the hottest days of the holiday.
When we got back to ToT later that afternoon, we noticed a huge line as the ride had been down. Kerry got a bit panicky, but we persuaded her to go on. Well as it got into the lift shaft, we noticed that it wasn’t very dark in there and you could see all around, well this was freaking Kerry out a bit and I saw her gripping tight to the side of her chair and closing her eyes. When the ride stopped, it took a moment to pull back and by this time she was giving me the ‘I’m NEVER going on that again – Ever !!’. I felt really guilty, but I was pleased that hubby was able to ride ToT one last time this holiday.
