I'm reading about touringplans... sounds really helpful. Has anyone subscribed to this and if so is it worth it? :confused3

I think Tour Guide Mike (tourguidemike.com) is better to use than Touring Plans. I subscribed to Tour Guide Mike this past summer and found his advice to be invaluable. We never waited in any lines more than ten minutes (some rides had 90 min. waits posted). It is well worth the $18 I paid. I did check out touring plans initially too but I found Mike's advice much better, in fact much of what he tells you to do (sorry, you are not aloud to share details unless you subscribe) goes against most of the guidebooks and when you read his explanations why it makes perfect sense. Tour Guide Mike also provides you with information on how to get the best seating for fireworks, parades and shows. There are also forums like the DISboards to help you plan your vacation using Tour Guide Mike's info. It is a lot of information to go through but well worth the time and effort. My Dh thought I was nuts the amount of time I spent on his site but after a truly magical vacation, he now sings the praises of TGM. I would not go to WDW again without using Tour Guide Mike to help plan.

No contest.
all written publications are good. But -- they obviously cannot be up to date past the publication date.
TourGuideMike is up to date, daily, as he is in the parks with his VIP tours almost every day of the week.
You can get info there that is most definitely not available with any other source.
You can subscribe and he guarantees your money back if not satisfied.
His site cost less than the cost of an outdated book.
Try it and you'll see.

I am using Tourguide Mike for our upcoming trip in the spring. The information on his website is better than any book I have ever read! Well worth the little bit of money. :flower:
