Please help with our first trip to Universal!!!

I am planning a trip to Orlando Oct. 06. We are planning on going to Universal and Sea World for the first time ever. I know Disney sends out those vacation planning kits and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get info on Univ. and SW attractions, park maps, resturants, etc. sent to me? I checked both the Universal and Sea World web sites and and found nothing. We will only have one day for each park and I want to make the very best of it (and the fact that I am an obsessive over planner) Having maps ect. will make it much easier. Also if anyone has any really great tips those would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all, Melssa ;)

the pre-trip information such as the planning guide, dvd, etc. The Universal website has some information and it does has good video clips of the major rides. You may also want to get one of the many guide books that cover Universal and Sea World as they will usually have maps and some planning information.
