What is everyone's favorite spot for a family photo at Disney? In front of the castle, Space Ship Earth?

I would like something unique that I could use for Christmas cards next year!

Any great ideas appreciated!

Why not try the "locks" near the Liberty Tree? The ones that look like you locked up two members of your family? (wooden)
Or perhaps near the Liberty Bell?

Another great photo spot is inside the Expo hall at the beginning of Main St.
They have some old Victorian Cars you could pile in as well as some very cool scenery backdrops to use. Some are animation related. The expo hall often goes unnotice by others......walk in past the gift shop area to the back!

One of our favorites is at Victoria Gardens at the Canadian pavilion in Epcot.

Not very original, but we take our yearly family photo in front of the castle.

If you travel in December and go to MVMCP, then you can get a free photo. Anywhere near the Polynesion is beautiful, take the monorail over. Very tropical, and it'd be a unique card!

I like pictures taken in the Rose Garden with the castle in the background.

Over at MGM there is that snowman near Mama Melrose....

Or another Christmas thing is the Winter Summerland Mini Golf - I've got my eye on a spot in front of the fireplace on hole #16!

We've also gotten a family pic on the main street trolley - standing in the back facing out....

Or how about the train?

Jeepers! There are lots of places! :)

At DTD, behind the Christmas store, there is a winter scene. Just get someone walking by to take your picture. There is snowman Mickey, Goofy, maybe Donald? I can't remember exactly what it looks like. I had the picture done with my parents back in Dec. 2003. We just stood by the characters. It made a cute Christmas card for the next year! :earsgirl:

We had ours taken by the fountain in MGM. It turned out really nice!

We usually have at least one family photo made at the Kodak What If! Lab located in the Imagination Pavilion (see below). They have a variety of backgrounds to choose from...

if you take the picture in front of something tall...ie...the castle, the mgm hat etc. make sure you get down on one knee and shoot up! that way you get the whole castle in and you cut out alot of other peoples heads!

How about everyone around the bronze statue of Walt and Mickey shot a little upwards so you may catch some of the castle in the backround. If trees are not in the way. It would be best to go(ie run!) right to that spot, or any spot for that matter, to avoid alot of people in the shot.

We like the WInter scene at DTD- but make sure you check the picture first (if you have digital)- We only glanced at ours and realized that DH's head was cutting off part of the sign that said "Happy Holidays" (he's tall!).

there are three that we always take:

1. Wilderness Lodge in front of the waterfall, sitting on the log
2. Wilderness Lodge on the dock with the water behind the girls
3. We always take one at DTD at the lego store. The girls each use legos and make the year out of them. That way they have made something out of legos and we always will remember the year!!

We always take our picture in front of the fountain at the Imagination Pavilion in Epcot. It's the one that is an upside down waterfall with Spaceship Earth in the background. It's a lovely openwork pyramid structure with water shooting up behind it and the "golf ball" behind. It's very cool.

This is our family favorite for the kids....across from Mickey's house there is the little playground for kids. There are 2 little plastic ducks and I have pictures of my DS at age 1, 2, 3, and 5 sitting on their back. He started on the smaller duck and then moved up to the bigger one. He will be 6 on our next trip and I don't know if he will fit on their back anymore  This year though, he has a baby sister to join him in the photo..... This is kind of silly but it is one of our little Disney traditions. :sad1:

We do the typical thing -just beyond the entrance of every park-...on Main Street at MK (castle in the background)...same for AK and the Tree in the background...MGM and the Sorcerer's Hat...Epcot and Spaceship Earth.
