I read one of Barb's trip reports and she mentioned they did not hurry to the port due to the changed boarding method a la all the other cruise lines. Sounds like you check in, then get a code and have to wait until your code is called to board? So is everyone getting to the port later than before? What is the first boarding time? If you are one of the first to check in at the port, does that mean you are still one of the first to board?

Boarding time is same as before. Difference is, not everyone gets in line & waits for the ship to be cleared for boarding. You are given a boarding group number & you board by that number. Cat 1 -3 & guests needing extra time are boarded first, then the remaining guests. This is very similar how airlines board larger planes.

First in the terminal get to be the first guests to board, same as before, without having to wait in the line.

Aww man, i'm gonna miss running to get in line so my sisters and I can be the first people on the ship :guilty:
Oh well, hopefully this works just as well, if not better

Concierge has always been the first to board. This is a much better system. We paid attention to what was happening around the ears & when a CM came out of them & talked to the people in concierge, we got up & moved to where the line to board was going to start. We were the first in line to board the ship after concierge & I finally got to enjoy the terminal. :)
