How many days does it take to do US and IOA?

I am thinking about buying tickets for 3 days for US and IOA and one day for Sea World. Is there plenty to do for 3 days at US and IOA? Thanks!

We did US and IOA in 1 day each. Our kids are 5 & 7, though, so that cut out a lot of rides, especially at IOA. I would think that would be plenty of time to get everything done. Have fun!

one day for each park is fine unless the crowds are bad, the Express Pass is down (as usual) and you are having to wait 45-90 minutes for a ride.

I was just there for the first time. We did one day at each park and that was enough, even though it was right after Christmas. We really had no waits at all without the express pass.

We're planning 4 days in the parks in March. Gee, is that too many? Our kids are 9 and 10 (will turn 11 on that trip) and love roller coasters. We are not park commandos and will be staying onsite. Will we be disappointed in having 4 days there? I don't want to come back tired from our trip.

we usually spend about 4 days at the Universal parks, it's nice having the extra time to take things slowly and enjoy the experince, also there are some rides we have to do over and over again i.e. Spiderman and The Mummy

Staying onsite is the best thing for non commandos... sleep late, walk to the parks and let your kids ride Hulk over and over and over again. And it is only after doing both Fire and Ice several times in a row can one really decide which they love the best.... And with the FOTL perk for onsite guests, you will have enough time left in the day to enjoy the pool, city walk, and relaxing.

We are doing 8 days in june. Thats what we did last time as well and quite frankly, if we could stay a month we would. We dont NEED 8 days, we just love it there. Also, we stay on-site and will visit epcot for 1 day, and maybe wetnwild. Gives us the freedom to take it as easy as we want. :sunny:

well If you really want to do things more than once i would suggest two days to allow a day for each park.

If you stay on site you can enjoy the resort as a whole so much more because the pace automatically becomes much slower. The fast pass cuts out most of waiting in lines and the need to rush from ride to ride just does not exist anymore.
If you really want to do universal in a day or two the best bet is to stay on site for one night that will give you 2 days of front of the line access. The best way to take advantage of this is to check in early, even if the room is not available the front of the line access will begin immediately.

Like others have said, you can do each park in 1 day.
If you go longer, your commando level can drop, and you can slow down.
It can be done either way. If you go commando style, you could to both parks in 1 day and see most attractions. Then again, people have stayed an entire week, taking their time, going to the pool, restaurants, shows, hanging out, and never get bored.

Visiting SWF is a good idea if you have extra time.
For WnW, be sure to arrive early, so you can get on the major slides before the crowds arrive.
