Ok, the holidays are over and now on to other things. I have 2 sister-in-laws that are expecting babies in the next few months. Does anyone have suggestions for cute party favors? Neither one knows what they are having so it needs to be neutral. Any other help would be appreciated.
TIA

we did chocolate lollipops and put a poem on a tag. It was folded and on the outside said " Note from Baby Doherty" inside read:
Dear Friends,
Thank you for all the beautiful gifts
You gave my parents and me,
When I come into this world
I知 sure they will come in handy.
I am a precious little bundle from heaven.
A gift from God above.
I値l be very easy to care for,
Just give hugs, kisses and love.
I知 sorry I can稚 be with you today
I知 very busy you see
I知 growing to be a beautiful baby,
So Mommy and Daddy will be proud of me.
I wish I could be there to thank you
In my own special way.
Since I can稚 you値l have to visit me
I値l be arriving on my Birthday!
I guess I better be going now
I have to get some rest.
舛ause when I make my entrance, friends
I want to look my best!
Love and Kisses,
Baby Doherty

That is the same poem I put in each baby shower thank yous. Everyone thought is was so cute.
The favor at my party were clear glass baby shoes with a netted bag filled with blue (cause we knew we were having a boy) jellybeans. then a blue ribbon with Tracys Baby Shower and the date on it tied around the neeted bag to hold it closed.
what if you bought a silver baby frame at the dollar store and attach a ribbon (yellow or green) in the corner. The persons name and date of shower on it. This way the people have a place to put a picture of the babys
let me see if i can find a site I'm sure someone has thought of this by now lol
well I can't send links so go to
favor online then go to baby shower search then click frames the frame is
Brushed Silver Baby Picture Frame the other one is Brushed Silver Frame with Engraved Hearts
I found these it has the babys info in where the babys photo goes but you can put the poem that was offered to you before.
anyways hope I helped.

Thank you from the bun in ___________s oven.
Make a cinnamon roll and wrap it in colored saran wrap. Blue if the mother to be is having a boy, and pink for a girl. Tie it with a riboon and a tag with the above message written.

For my sister's recent shower, I made milk chocolate teddy bear lollipops with pink chocolate bows on them (she was having a girl, I would do blue bows for a boy). Then I just attached tags with ribbon that had teddy bears and read ________'s Shower. Then I put them all in a basket and put them at everyone's place setting at the shower.

I like do do scented votives that match the theme of the shower. For an underwater theme, I did a blue/green ocean water scented votive. i put a label on it that says:
Here's a candle for you to light
once the stork has made it's flight
with the flicker of the flame
say a prayer in baby's name
Thanks for sharing this special day with me
________ baby shower January 1, 2005
I printed that on a clear label and put it on the candle. then I tied light pink ribbon around the candle and foudn cute tiny shells to glue on at michaels. We didn't know the sex of this baby.
I've done othe rvariations where I printed the saying on cardstock and put a cute baby border and tied with pretty ribbon. Can be done in pink or blue depending on sex of baby, or changed to fit the shower theme.
