i have tons of denim fabric that i've been saving; mainly i just do simple applique work so i save outgrown jeans, etc. with two DDs i have some cute embriodering, pockets, etc and I was wondering.........would it be possible to cut and piece together the denim to create fabric that I then could use to make, say an apron??
i can envision it but not sure if it's worth the time or look good???
I am not a person who likes to do putsy projects - so my thought is it would not be worth the time.
One of my SIL's uses old jeans to make purses. I've never seen one (SIL lives a ways away). but the last time she was here, she took some of DD's old jeans.
There are some "old jeans" ideas if you: click here (http://familycrafts.about.com/cs/forpreteens/l/bljeanstrt.htm)
I always thought that old blue jeans would be the perfect material for baby's bibs, but that revelation came to me after DD needed bibs.
