View Full Version : Being Wishy-Washy, now I'm thinking Napa Rose again...

Okay, I know I just posted about Hook's Point, but Michelle's comment made me think of Napa Rose again! I did a search on it and just about everyone had great things to say about it (just a couple people said it was way too expensive).

My questions regarding Napa Rose:
1. Can anyone tell me what they ate (for dinner) and what their impressions were?
2. For anyone who has been there recently (maybe within the past 1-2 months), do they still have the fixed price menu? If so, do you remember what was included?
3. There was a post about romantic things at DL, and someone said something about asking to be seated outside next to a firepit ? Is that outside as in ourdoors? Can someone elaborate on that?

This will probably be our one big splurge this trip in terms of dining, so I'm just trying to make a good choice. BF and I made a deal that instead of me taking him out to dinner for his birthday back in May, we'd save the money and have a nice dinner somewhere at DLR. We are staying at GC, so Napa Rose would be convenient. I was also thinking of Avalon Cove or Hook's Point.

Any opinions are welcome! Thanks!:p

Good luck on whatever you choose. :)

If you go to http://www.google.com and do a search using "napa rose" or include "menu" or "review", you will find some nice reviews that will make your mouth water! The roast pork with chapparel sauce sounds great.
