Anyone going to MVMCP on the 29th???

I got myself a ticket for MVMCP! Believe it or not, they are going to mail it to me in Brazil (I hope the mail is ok! ) As I have no condition of dropping myself from 13 floors :eek: , I am going on the 29th.

I confess that sometimes I wished I was not such a chicken, though :rolleyes:


I believe there was a previous thread with people that intended to go to MVMCP on that evening. It will be my first Christmas party and after I had the e-mail from my DU travel agent I got really excited. We have no snow, no Christmas carols, and much less decoration down here. It is the height of summer, in fact, with highs as highs as 100s. Being in the US during this season is very, very special to me!

I wished fervently that you guys could convince me to go to Splash Mountain. It seems to be fun! But I never got there.


Second: the way my insides still ache today, I simply can't imagine being able to drop from 13 floors!
My boss had me go back to work on Thursday, or else. So much for absolute rest.

Change of Plans. I will now be going to MVMCP on the 2nd. Hope this is the is the last plan change for a while!

I am going to the MVMCO on the 29th. 2 Hours of the Tower is way tooooo much for me. Once is good. :)

You definately should try Splash. As someone who does not do very many thrill rides, it took me a few trips before I went on Splash. I was so afraid of the "BIG" drop that everyone sees. That drop is not what it appears. It looks like it is going into the very bowels of the earth!

Well, let me tell you, the drop ends right there. It is very mild , especially compared to the thrill rides at MGM. It is a little more than the pirates, but not too much. (And very similar to the Norway ride)

And let me tell you about the inside. It is the cutest story! Definately worth doing at least once. And, we'll go with you!

Livia, I will be happy to go with you and Steve on Splash! You will not be sorry-it is the greatest ride. The animatronics inside are amazing. There is so much more to the ride than the drop. That's only a very small part. And, Norway isn't scarey at all. It's short and sweet. Another favorite of mine-I just wish it were longer.

Oh Livia....you and I sound exactly the same when it comes to the 'thrill rides' I so, so badly want to do Splash, but I chicken out each and every time. :(

i can't believe it took 4 days for the thing to arrive here in South America!!!! I am so excited! Now I have to keep my Minnie in a safe place! I am going to put it together with my AP.
