I wanted to write a long, detailed trip report but it is really hard. Many kudos for all of you who write in depth and/or live trip reports. I have no idea how you do it.

We stayed at the Carribean Beach Resort from December 6-13, 2005. This is my 3rd trip to WDW, the first time with kids. It was me, DH, DS 5 and DS 22 months.

December is a wonderful time to go. There's lots of extra Holiday magic. Every park has a beautiful tree and wonderful decorations. The crowds were quite manageable. We would arrive early most days, go back to our room for a nap and then hit the parks again in the late afternoon. Sometimes we would go to the same park in the same day, sometimes we would hop. Days were short so we did do MK, AK and MGM evening EMH.

One day we did MGM in the am, took a boat to ESPN on the boardwalk for lunch (where btw we had a magical experience of getting free tshirts), walked to EPCOT, walked around the world, hopped on a bus back to our resort - napped and then hit MGM again where we saw the Osborne lights and Fantasmic.

The magical highlights of our trip:

Seeing my DS5 let out a big sigh of relief when he saw Tinker Bell at Fantasmic. DS5 hates fireworks, but Pal Mickey told him he had to see Fantasmic so he insisted. He loved it, and his face made me cry.

Eating at Le Cellier in Epcot. The filet (sans bbq sauce) was out of this world. My boys were precious eating their s'mores.

The day of front rows. My DS5 and I had front row seats for Big Thunder railroad, Goofy's barnstormer and Splash Mountain all in one day. Talk about magical.

Riding up front on the monorail early in the morning. It's amazing.

The face of my DS1 on Kilimanjaro Safari at AK and the tea cups at MK.

Eating at Boma in the AKL - I loved the food.

I got to ride Dinosaur twice. Hubby chickened out after we did the baby swap so I got to use his pass.
Since I was a single I sat on the front row both times. Once on the left and once on the right (shudder).

Getting most of my Christmas shopping done at the gift shop at Old Port Royale. They had the Christmas Mickey/Tinkerbell watch special for $10 for every $30 purchase. I bought 4 watches.

The fun my family had in wearing matching tye dye shirts. We got lots of comments and it was fun.

And last but not least, we had so much magic because of the DIS boards. I would like to thank everyone that has contributed in the past and planning on contributing in the future. With this board our trip was truly magical.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

I made the Tye Dye shirts from instructions I found here on the DIS. Here is the link:

(tye dying is at the very bottom of the first post)

I bought my dye at Walmart and my tshirts at Target. Just make sure you get 100% cotton shirts. I also didn't have enough patience so I didn't let the dye stay on long enough. Try to keep the dye on the longest amount of time recommended.
