I would like to get Trip Cancellation Insurance, but I have heard that the insurance through Disney is kind of pricey, and has limited coverage. Does anybody have any other recommendations? Not sure where to place this post.

Since I booked through AAA, I used their insurance. Additionally, I was impressed that I actually had to ask for the insurance (and it wasn't automatically added as some will do). Our cost was around $60 per adult, so $120 total. Considering our vacation comes at the end of the summer and our four-year-old got a brand new "big-boy bike" for Christmas, I can only be hopeful that we make it through the summer without a visit to Childrens Hospital! When we factor the costs of an 11 days/10 nights Disney vacation, an additional $120 for insurance seems like a "no-brainer."
As we sometimes say, "You can't control Mr. Murphy (of Murphy's Law fame), but you can be prepaired."

I always compare and purchase from www.insuremytrip.com and have been very pleased each time. I looked at the AAA website but couldn't find trip cancellation insurance(was just shopping for this yesterday) Their policies were only medical and for a domestic trip that wasn't much of an issue.(I did try to call but they were not in on the holiday Monday) I purchased Travelex Travelite from the mentioned website. The cost for covering about 10K was $171. I used them for last summer vacation to and when I had to file a claim they were great and I was reimbursed quickly.

Check your credit card provider. Some provide "complimentary" travel insurance, while others offer it at a reasonable price.

I used Insuremytrip.com...it was cheaper, and actually covered more, like terrorism.
